Missing Art. Need contact info help

We finally got the art we purchased on the Magic in March, a week ago. It's AUGUST! So much for 4-6 weeks, more like 4-6 months!

At least we got it and it is beautiful. Irritating lack of customer service though.

I really don't understand why DCL has them on board? Do they make that mush of a profit off of them? It is a company that does not follow the same customer service lines as DCL does. I just don't trust them.:confused3

After nearly 3 months we just got our giclee. Very well packaged and in perfect condition.

But, no letter of authenticity which is annoying. I just assumed they would send something with a limited edition piece.

We FINALLY got our artwork too. Note to self: Don't buy art on the ship again.

After reading all your posts from last year, I wish I would have came here before I purchased a piece on the Disney Dream. Our cruise was the week of Feb. 14, 2012 and to be honest, and with somewhat embarassment here....the fact I purchased this Disney Piece totally slipped my mind until a few days ago. They originally said not to expect the piece before 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks passed and still no art delivered so I kind of put it on the back burner which was a mistake. It is now the last of June...and still no art. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to call regarding this because I've misplaced the originial purchase invoice. All I have is a credit card payment receipt.

Thanks for your help!!!!

Seeing as you bought it next year, you have lots of time ;)
I have read so many horror stories I'd never consider buying after the reviews.

A few weeks ago it was announced that DCL is no longer doing business with the Art Auction house onboard (I think it was West End Gallery). I know they got rid of the other onboard Art Auction house a few years ago.

Good news is that DCL is now going to be doing their own art auctions...no outside company.

I would call DCL and ask about how to proceed if you purchased artwork this year from the previous art auction and still have not received it.

Here is the thread from April that discussed Disney break from West End Gallery.

See Post #31 in the link I provided in my other post. It has DCL's response to someone's inquiry about their art purchase onboard the Dream this year.
