Just a quick question. I made a few ADR's for our trip starting tomorrow. This trip was made on very short notice- we booked just this past Saturday. If we happen to miss one of our ADR's (we've booked at San Angel, Boatwrights, Mama Melrose, Donald's Breakfastasaurus, and Tony's) is there a fee? By all means, as it stands we DO NOT plan on missing any one of these- but just in case we do (plans can change- we only decided we were going 4 days ago!) I just want to make sure of the cancellation policy and if any cancellation fees apply. Thanks!

No. There is no fee unless you used a credit card to secure the AR, like CRT breakfast. Hope you don't miss any! Have a great time! (PS. if you know you won't be going, it is courteous to call and let them know though).

Thanks- we've just never gone on such short notice before- didn't have that planning, re-planning, and re-planning the re-planning that I'm used to. Never had to cancel an ADR before! Don't worry, I would definitely call first- but at this point I'm not really planning on missing any!

Have a great time and don't sweat the ADR's! You sound much more responsible than some that just book all over the place to ensure a spot somewhere :) Warm up the World for us after-thanksgiving guests, eh?

No fee, but it'd be nice if you knew ahead of time that you wont be able to make it to call the restaurant directly to cancel your ADR.

Another thing to keep mind, and some may call me a heretic for revealing this, but if you can't get to your ADR on time, they'll still honor it at whatever time you show up. Or at least they did on my case.

I found this out after having a PS (this was back in May) at the the Brown Derby for an early lunch and, for reasons I can't now remember, could not make it. I showed up about 2 hours after my original PS and after some good humored bantering with the front desk staff, they were able to seat me after a 15 minute or so wait.

I DO NOT advocate doing this as a matter of course but Disney can be accomodating and, if circumstances warrant it, they may be able to get you seated.

This was a solo trip so it was just me but the restaurant was fairly full and there were people waiting in the lobby. I have no idea if the people waiting had PSs or not so I have no idea if I was usurpping someone else with a PS at the time I showed up.

Well, this is at least good to know just in case we're a few minutes late because of the buses!! I get so nervous over that!! I just hate being late and I'm always afraid they'll just say, sorry, you missed your ressie!!!!
