Miss last day of Sept event?

We will be attending the breakfast for the September Pin Celebration but our plan was to go home on Saturday afternoon or evening. Any guess as to what we would miss on Saturday night or Sunday? Not sure how we could change our plans, but if we are going to miss a lot, we need to think about how it can be done.

If last year is any indication -- definitely the LE pin sales and the pin maps for Sunday (but you might have time for Saturdays depending on what time you leave), more than likely some artist signings, drawings, and seminars, possibly an auction.


They haven't announced the detailed schedule for the three days so it's hard to say.

If there is any way you can change your plans I would try if I were you.
Last year some of the best and prettiest pins were released on the last day. I love my Tink Around the World.
And they are planning to have a different map each day this event, unlike last year where they had the same map each day. The 3 maps will combine together for a large picture, and I am sure it will be beautiful. Someone can do the map for you, but it is so much more fun to do them yourself.
And most important..... if you leave on Saturday you will miss all the fun and excitement Arizona Jeff is planning. He and Mean Laureen will most likely have meets planned every night and they are a blast. It will be a great chance for you to trade, and meet the crazies that inhabit these boards. Of course I am not talking about me, I am one of the normal ones!!!
So work on changing, we can't wait to meet you. Peggie

ME and Randy are going to miss the first day. We are going on the last day so I hope there will be some good pins that day.

Thanks guys - we will work on changing our plans to be there at least part of the day on Sunday. I doubt we can be out of work on Monday, though, and didn't want to fly, but may have to. How late would we have to stay on Sunday to at least get all the pins that are available and any surprises?
