My Trip Report - Part 2

Starring:

Me! Miss Cleo
My Best Friend - Renowned Pet Psychic Sonya

We decided to spend this day at Epcot and got up early to get a nice full day in. I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee in my refillable mug that I bought on ebay (I got a GREAT deal) and watched the giraffes grazing. Sonya, as you can see from our pictures, is a very frufru type of girl and takes at least an hour to put her face on. Me? I'm not a big make up person and I just pull my hair up and go. I didn't mind though, gives me time to enjoy the scenery.

Sonya FINALLY declared herself visible to the world and we headed for Epcot. Ahhhhh, I love this park! It is so mystical and magical. I get tingly whenever I'm here. We rode Spaceship Earth first and Sonya loved it! I fell asleep but I was very tired from being up all night listening to her incessant snoring. After that we decided to hit Test Track! The first thrill ride she couldn't wimp out of because of animal vibes. We got on the ride and everything started out just fine. We started going through the tests and all of a sudden Sonya started screaming! That dog of hers started barking and jumped out of the ride vehicle! I told her DisneyWorld isn't the place for a dog but she insisted. She whistled and called Charlie! Charlie! (his full name is Charlatan...why she chose this name, I have no idea). I just hid my face because I really didn't need any extra attention drawn to me. Some big burly fellow reached out and grabbed Charlie right before we went through the extreme heat tunnel. Whew! That would have been a MESS! The rest of the ride was great except Charlie's ears kept flapping in my face as we took the go around.

I took a deep breath and reminded myself that I was on vacation and no lunatic and her little dog would ruin my time! I suggested Mission Space and Sonya was certain she would be sick so she didn't want to go on. She asked if I would take Charlie on. I gave her my "don't make me slap you back into the stone age" look and she got the message. Wow! I really enjoyed Mission Space! It made me feel closer to the heavens. My visions were clearer until I started feeling sick and realizing we were going around in circles at 1,000 times per minute. I managed to hold it together and not lose it though. Good thing Sonya didn't go on, she surely would have used the barf bag!

We decided to stroll the countries and have lunch while there. I was a little irritated there were no carribbean countries but Sonya reminded me that I got to visit home while on Pirates of the Carribbean. I stared at her out the corner of my eye while I fought the urge to choke her right there in the middle of England. Sonya teared up and talked about missing home and I gave her a big hug and noogies. My noogies really cheer her up!

We walked around all of the countries and really had a wonderful time. We were both getting hungry and decided to eat in Mexico. Sonya tucked Charlie into his travel bag and we walked in. What WONDERFUL ambiance! We were lucky enough to be seated right on the river next to the temple. We started with some margaritas and browsed the menu. By the time we had decided on a meal, Sonya was on her second margarita! I think being in England upset her and the margaritas helped calm her sadness. Our dishes arrived and she ordered a third margarita. I had the Mexicanos Platas? It was delicious! I don't think Sonya liked her dish because she just picked at it while she drank. I decided against dessert because I felt if we stayed any longer, Sonya would have passed out! I'm glad the other Disney parks don't serve alcohol! I quickly paid the bill with her credit card and we left.

I figured a nice boat ride would relax us so we got on Rio El Tempo the Mexico boat ride. I reminded her to stay in the boat and that I had a bad feeling about her. She called me some names a friend should NEVER call another friend and stood up in the boat!!! I was pretty angry she spoke to me that way so I just crossed my arms and let her act the fool! When we approached those handsome looking fellows dancing in the loin cloths she tried to jump out and grab them!! She fell out of the boat and of course I started laughing hysterically...who wouldn't! But before I even knew what was going on, 3 uniformed guards were pulling her behind the scenes! I am usually one to be a good friend but I pretended I didn't know her and went back to the hotel! I am a person of delicate repute and I cannot be associated with such nonsense. Her mugshot will surely end up on The Smoking Gun!

So, I went back to the hotel and had a swim. I met a really nice couple while I was down there and we all laughed as I mocked Sonya's boat trip in the pool! It was great fun! When I got back to the room, Sonya still wasnt there....

Here is a picture of us at Epcot with the clown people! Man, I love them! I would really love to steal one of their outfits sometime!

That is great. I can't help but wonder though, did Sonja get back in time to make it to the Animal Kingdom?

Miss Cleo, thank you for sharing your Epcot adventure with us. But once again, I have no psychic powers, so I don't know if Sonya made it back to the hotel, or became one of the skeleton singers on El Rio Del Tiempo. Do tell us.
