Misc. ?s re: DVC resorts and renting points

We are planning to rent points at either BWV or BCV next spring, however, we have never stayed at either of these resorts and have never rented points. Therefore, we have the following ?s:

-When will the 2006 point charts be available? I'm afraid to purchase points now and find out later that we need more points.
-When renting points can we use the new magical express service?
-I know housekeeping isn't included, but is it available and how much is it?
-At BWV do the studio rooms with a daybed cost more? If so, how much?
-Are the sofa beds in the studio rooms comfortable enough for a 10 and 5 yr old to sleep on for 7 nights?

Any help on these subjects would be greatly appreciated!

I know the 2006 points charts have already been produced. The points don't really change year to year, they are just adjusted by date for special occasions.

Yes, you may use the Magical Express.

Daily housekeeping is available and the price is dependent on the size unit you are in. It appears you are looking at a studio and I think the cost of housekeeping is either $25 or $35 per day.

The only difference in points for a studio would be based on view.

I would think the sofabed would be just fine for 2 kids.

Have a great time. You may want to start looking soon for your points so a member can book with the 11 month window. Spring can be especially difficult with breaks and Easter.

is the 16th of April, so the week before and after are designated Premiere weeks...which translates to LOTS of points

Our kids are both 7 years old - twins- and they are fine on a sofa bed.

You can get "Turn down" service too at BCV, and I think, BWV. It's $10/day.

As far as the daybeds at BWV, I know many have posted that the're really not very big, and would be perhaps suitable for a very small child...

Look for any post by Caskbill. Then look in his signature, click on the link, and download his free and excellent DVC Planner software. It has all of the points and seasons until the end of time...really useful tool!

[SIZE=+0]Just wanted to mention that you CANNOT guarantee getting a BWV studio with daybed. It's only a request, and requests aren't guaranteed.

Also, housekeeping is $25/day for a studio.

The 2006 points chart is the same as 2005, except for the following dates are different:
3/20 - 4/2 (was Premier Season this year, is Magic Season next year)
4/9 - 4/22 (was Magic Season this year, is Premier Season next year)
11/22 - 11/25 (dates for Thanksgiving have shifted over)[/SIZE]
