Miracosta renovations

Hi folks,

We are planning a trip to Tdl and want to stay at the Miracosta in the middle of May 2015 for a night. We have read that there are Renovations that are taking place while we are there. We want to book a lagoon view room so that we can see the show from our balcony.

Does anyone know if the renovations will affect the view? This is our first time at Tdl and really want to experience the Miracosta (at least for one night) ?

Just got back from TDR. There are walls up around the front of the lagoon as they do the renovations, so you'll have a view of that, but everything else should be fine. You'll still be able to see the rest of the lagoon and Mt. Prometheus in the background. Have fun!

Thank you for the information. We are nervous about booking the room (and spending that amount of money) and not being able to see the lagoon and the show.
