Minus One On ADR's?

Hi All - We're headed "home" in weeks and I can't wait! Aside from the coveted Ohana's that I still can't get!....I have all of my ressies and we are ready! I originally booked all of our tables for 6......now our 16 year old son is probably opting out this trip

He would "rather spend his last week of summer with friends and is bored with Disney"

Anyway, seeing as we already had one family vacation this summer (Myrtle Beach in June), we are considering honoring his request to stay home with grandma.

In this case our ADR's should be for 5 instead. Do I need to modify this or is it ok to just leave it. I certainly don't want to risk losing the ressies at this late time over subtracting one person.

Seating for 5 is still at a table for 6, so I think that you will be ok. We had a party of 8, one got sick half way through our trip, and it was no problem to go down to 7.

You might call and ask about 1 reservation and see if you can change it in the system, but I think I would leave it as-is.

Us being a family of 5, we are normally at a table for 6. I don't think it would matter. So nice of you to think of others though!

Seating for a party of 5 or 6 will be at a 6 top table so you'll be fine. On a previous trip all of our reservations were for 4, but one person couldn't come because of work committments. It was not a problem.

If, however, any of your reservations required a credit card guarantee when you booked it, you'll need to let them know that there will be one less person so that you aren't charged for your son or charged a no show fee for him. I think the deadline is 48 hours before the scheduled meal or dinner show.
