I've spent the afternoon and evening on the phone. It seems through various snaffoos that Bri won't be swearing in tomorrow, it will be Thursday.
It has gone back and forth, wednesday or thursday about 5 times now. I've had to call her daddy and my sister each time to change the plans.
I've had to call work to rearrange my schedule, and believe me they are not happy.
That's not the worst of it. The very worst is that I was trying to prepare myself to deal with it, trying not to call her crying not to do this. Trying to steel myself for the ceremony, and then it's postponed another day. I'm not doing so good.

Good news though. Some of you may remember that boyfriend of hers that was a little crazy? Well, she convinced him to sign up for the national guard too. If he passes the physical, and basic training, which I doubt he's physically or mentally able to do. Then he will be alright I think. His family that actually cares is proud of him and grateful that he won't end up like they are. They are quickly back to worshipping Bri.
Bri and him aren't back together, but she cares.

He is talking a friend of his into joining. He's 17 with a gf and a baby with no income.

I'm sorry Laurie/Serena--very frustrating for you. Hang in there.

I was thinking about you the other day because I have missed your "Good Morning" threads.

Hope all goes well with Bri

 Hugs, Laurie! I hope that's the last change. Hang in there!!

I'm hoping some stability in his life will straighten him out.

Pop Daddy,
Your comment does not sit too well with me. :(
These brave soldiers, including my son, are laying their lives on the line now, so that our country may remain free.

If they don't start out that way by the time corrupt NCOs and first sgt's get done with them they will be. At least that's what I've seen happen.

Sandie, I can't speak for Pop Daddy, but I know he meant no harm by what he said. He was probably trying to make me laugh.

Keli, I don't know what to say, but I'm sorry.
