I was looking at the Scout app but it got horrible reviews. But it seems alot of people on here like it...is it just the app that is bad

Scout has got me a couple reservations. I used Reservationwatcher for a couple others. Neither was perfect, but Scout alerted BoG bkfst right away.

Thank you. I'll have that open in a separate tab so I'll post there if I get anything tonight. I'll go to bed around 12am PST time and have my alarm set for 3am.

I also have scout and have a watch for H&V for 5pm and fantasmic dining for 5pm. I'll switch to the Minnie once they add that.

You get 2 free searches on Scout, right?

Supposedly the "free" searches don't actually alert you when they find a reservation, but rather send an email the next day saying "see what we found and you could have had if you paid us?" I think that's why they've gotten such bad reviews. I have a one year subscription and they've found me several ADRs, particularly for a last- minute trip I booked for next month.

They probably were spying on Scout's fb page and saw me begging for them to add it and thought they would get to it first.

Edit: I may use that to my advantage. I'm now going to go tell Scout the buddy added it muahahahaha

Right after it appeared on the site, I emailed DDB telling them that it was listed on the site. I asked if my current search would catch it (F!--any). They said no, but that they had just added it. It may be $8, but they have put up with all my emails today and it seems like they just saved me a nights sleep!

I will. I know I have H&V and fantasmic on scout already but I don't know if that will catch it. They said they would post it on their FB page once it's been added.

You can change search/modify during first 24 hours I think

So for my dates in early December Touring Plans lists HS being open from 9AM -8PM with Fantasmic at 8:30. Does that seem correct that Fantasmic would be after they close? I'd hate to book 6PM or something for Minnie and then have them change the times for Fantasmic.

It is starting to worry me that only the fantasmic booking option is showing up right now. The early times do not work in our schedule so we really need to be able to book it as a regular dinner. Surely it will show up on the site as a regular dinner too?? I know CMs have told people regular dinner will be offered too, but it'd be nice if it'd show up online as an option so I can stop worrying! Lol
