My kids are carrying a poncho, gift card, meds/chopstick, DH and I are carrying phones and various cards, into the park. There is an adorable discontinued color of original SPIbag that looks like Minnie Mouse!

So, I found 5 originals and 2 larger belts for our large family. It seems like a product we would use in many contexts, and I want the kids to have some measure of independence and responsibility for their own needs. Should I do it??

They aren't my thing, but if they appeal to you, go for it.

Wondering if people who have used them think kids would like them? I want to avoid bags but pockets won't work for my gang.

Eh, I use something like that for longish runs (like 1/2 marathon and less). They work well for that purpose but I can't imagine wearing it into the park. Not because it's not comfortable but because of what I typically wear to the park (sun dresses). I guess with shorts and a t-shirt they would work fine. Regarding the kids not sure how old they are (and if they are all girls or not), they would probably work for the 6 to 13 age range. Maybe ask them and see what they think? I know I would never have guessed that my mom wanted a Disney cinch bag but my sister showed her what she was getting for our upcoming trip and my Mom pointed to one and said she'd like something like that. So mother's day present is already purchased! :yay:
