Minnie Moo the cow??

Years ago, I remember a story about a cow that was born with a Mickey head marking on her side. I think they said that Disney bought her, and named her Minnie Moo. Is she around anywhere to be seen? Did she ever really exist?

There was a real cow named Minnie Moo with a "Mickey" on her side. She was at a WDW park and lived to be relatively old. . .but this was some time ago. She died about 10 years ago, I think.

Minnie Moo lived in Toontown (then called Mickey's Birthdayland, then Mickey's Starland) at the site that is now the Barnstormer. There was a petting zoo there, and Minnie Moo was the star attraction. She moved to the FW petting area later, and she has been in "the big pasture in the sky" for quite a while now.

I was just looking through all of the albums from our previous trips and I do have a couple of pictures of Minnie Moo when she was in the little farm area of MK that is now Toon Town. They basically look just like the pictures above but I can scan them in if you like.

From looking at the photos of her, it looks like she had been bred at one time. I guess her baby(s) did not inherit mom's markings, or they would probably be around somewhere! Very cool looking cow! And, a very lucky cow! What a great life she had!

There was a Minnie Moo in Disneyland also in the early 90's.
We saw her one year and then went back the next year and she was gone. I asked the CM in the area and she said Minnie Moo moved on to greener pastures. I thought she meant a farm but she was dead. I'm a little slow sometimes.
