Minnie Marathon weekend transportation

Will there by buses running to the Wide World of Sports during the Minnie Marathon weekend in May? I think I read somewhere that they go there from MGM, but I don't know how often, and I was wondering if they would also have them running from the resorts for that weekend.

Also, it is my understanding that there will be no transportation provided to get to the start of the 15K race. I will be traveling without a car, so I'm assuming that I'll need to get a cab. Should I call a cab company directy to arrange something, or would the concierge at my resort be able to help?

All WDW resorts have taxis waiting for fares. If one is not available a Cast Member will get one for you right away.
The only bus service to the WWOS is from the Disney Studios. I don't believe this bus runs as often as the regular WDW bus service. I know that they stop service at 8:00pm daily, regardless of what is taking place at the WWOS. We happened upon the bus stop last June as we were walking from the Studios back to the Boardwalk area. I had not noticed the bus stop our last few trips but there was a sign for the WWOS along the main walkway that goes between the Studios entrance and the boardwalk area.
