I'm open to suggestions, but how about noonish or early afternoon? Should we do another poll? I was going to say 2:00 might be a good time, but I'm open to any suggestions.

Actually, Disney was one of the companies being approached to see if they wanted to sponsor the Park. They turned it down, not once, but twice. The regected the idea both at the begining of the project and again after the Knott's people left. That's why it is now run by Universal. BTW, I HATE the fact that they got rid of the "north woods" decor and opted for those bright Universal colors.

We were there on Friday, the new decor is weird...I liked the north woods feel, but don't like how they are combining that with the BRIGHT colors of Nick...just an odd pairing if you ask me!

I haven't been to the MOA for ages, plus our local TDS just closed in Jan, so I've been needing a Disney fix.

Hi Herc! I threw out a time suggestion of 2 PM and haven't heard any objections, so that's what we are aiming at. Unless people would rather do earlier. I am totally open that day.

We can, but since we wont really know a number before we arrive, I think we should leave that open and plan a specific time. If we meetin in front of the Disney store at 2:00, we can either go to a restaurant or the food court depending on the number and the whim of those present. We have done meets both ways, and with a larter number of folks, the food court works best. It's just easier for everyone to talk together.

2:00 in front of Disney Store. Will try to make it, mornings are better, but I sure would love to meet you folks. It is always fun to get a Minnesotan opinion on how things work in Florida. I know we are all Disney crazy, but that is a nice thing. We could be crazy about a lot of worse things. Hope to see you there.

Awesome! Thanks guys! Just so I'm clear... what day and what time? And infront of the Disney Store at the MOA?

I know i'm legally considered an adult... but I can't begin to tell you the amount of times that I've gone to an 'adults only' activity (ie: volunteer activities in the community) and been sneered at because of my age. It makes me feel really uncomfortable. So i just wanted to ask ahead of time. I thought it would be ok since the Dis'ers are so incredibly awesome, hah!

Maybe I'll ask my mom if she wants to tag along. She was the one that posted in this forum about the florida bug. We're planning on moving down there within a year or two!

So yeah, if someone could just confirm the time and day, that would be GREAT!
