What is the capacity limits to the Minnie Weekend races? Did they fill up last year? I don't remember either one filling up, but maybe this yr with the 15K being the last year.

I am curious about the people doing the 5K and the 15K. I did both last year, as the courses were different. But this year, the 5K is just the last part of the 15K. So, is it to get the 5K medal, if you didn't previously? Just wondering.. Anne

Anne, running around World Showcase is quite possibly my most favorite thing, so I'm all for the chance to do it twice on the same weekend! Plus I figure I'd better maximize my racing experience (and medal count) while I'm down there!

I just got my flights for May!!!! I love air miles! I'll be arriving Wednesday early afternoon, leaving Tuesday afternoon. I just left Disney, I can't believe I'll be going back so soon!

By the way.....sometimes the men wear the Minnie shirts anyway, as evidenced by the gentleman to the left of my photo in the gray shorts....

No they did not fill up at all last year and I heard they were actually dissappointed with the numbers last year. I have never seen any of the races at Disney max out -- besides Marathon except TOT. But RFTT the last 2 years and MINNIE did not. But they will post it has reached XXX% if it goes over 50% I think.

The Healy's kids races I see. I have a 11, 9, 6, 2 year that I'd like them to race too.

Where is the race held at?? I don't see it on the link?

I don't remember from last year MINNIE but I know Race for the Taste the kids races are right there in Epcot parking lot after finish of main race. I don't know if it's same for MINNIE but maybe you could email them and find out.

I'm doing the 15K and both of my sisters will be doing it with me (first race ever for both of them)

Not sure where we're staying, will advise.

Now, a question for those who have done it before, I am a bit concerned with how to get to the start. Will I be able to get a cab that early in the morning?

Hi Anne....Just thought I'd answer your 5k/15k question. I'm doing both because I'm really trying to gauge my 5K time and see what I'm capable of at that distance (haven't run that distance in a while) and honestly because I'd love another medal LOL! I'm hoping to PR at the 5K distance.

AmyBeth - I'm with you on trying to PR the 5K as well. I can't find too many up here (as they all seem to be paired with 10Ks I want to run). I really want to PR my 5K this year. My PR is from my first ever 5K race! Time to fix that....

OMG Tig- have you seen my other post about HOW MUCH I MISS ALL HERE!!!! In all honesty the Air Force is giving me a break with my travel for the next 6 weeks I'm stoked!!! I even bought a new laptop to travel with while I'm on the road, because with my gov laptop, I cannot access the DIS (filters) so I'm ready to meet my new family members and am very excited about it too
