We are going the last week of September for 9 days and will need to rent a minivan. Just curious, what is the best rate that you have gotten for a minivan.

I just secured a rental for at Town & Country (or similar) for $230.00 that = $320 after taxes and fees.

We have a mid-sized SUV (not sure if that would work for you instead of mini van) reserved for $267 taxes included for 8 days with National. We used the KLM Flying Blue code found in this thread:

plus a $25 coupon from the Entertainment Book. The KLM Flying Blue program is open to everyone and free to join.

This rate also includes some great optional insurance coverages, as well as the standard unlimited mileage.

Plus, we signed up for Emerald Aisle membership so we can bypass the counter.

Our dates are the end of August.

Currently at $315 from EZ-rental, but hoping for better.

I used the codes found on this board to secure this price.

The key question is, do you really NEED a minivan (more than 5 passengers?), or do you just want one?

Minivans are always the most in-demand vehicles in Orlando, and for that reason the agencies always charge a very steep premium for them. In most cases, you can rent two full-size cars for what one minivan will cost you for the same period.

So, if you can manage with a different vehicle, you are likely to save quite a bit of money on it.

Rebooked tonight using same code, same coupon, for $251 . Minivans were slightly more.

Was about $128 (including taxes/fees) for weekly minivan rental (brand new T&C) with Budget in January from MCO. Booked through Costco, and the price dropped 6 days before our trip. Prior to that, it hovered around $200 for a weekly rental.

We also use carrentalsavers dot com, but this time Costco (with membership) came out on top.
