Just enquiring if anyone knows what the minimum age requirement is for DVC stays, as I can't find the answer on the DVC website.

We are considering letting our son and a few of his friends use points for possible stay next summer. They will all be 17, so just wondering if this is possible.:confused3

Thanks in advance.

I believe it's 18, but it's best to check with MS to be sure.

I can't find anything specific to DVC, but the minimum age to check into Walt Disney World resorts in general is 18. I would assume DVC follows the same rule.

I emailed this question to member services about 2 1/2 years ago. This was the response I got:

Thank you for contacting Member Services.

You would need to fill out, sign and have notarized an Unescorted Minor
Release Document. You would be able to request one through Member
Services.

If any one of the party turns 18 prior to check-in, you can just make them the lead on the reservation and no one needs to fill out the Unescorted Minor Release Document. This information is now pretty old, so it would be a good idea to reconfirm with member services

We were told by MS that it was 18 when we made our booking,we have 2 Studios,DS is taking DGF but as they are both under 18 the booking states that he is with me & DGF is with DW.
SD:thumbsup2

At least one person in the room must be 18.
I have booked DD who was 18, two 17 year olds, and one 16 in a studio before.
