Mini Van Rate...

We just reserved a mini van from Dollar for 8 nights in mid-October at $249.00. This is a good rate, right? My guess it that it's reasonable, but we don't normally rent--and never a mini van! We're in new territory, here!

This is for our BIG family trip. The number of people remains at six, but the length of the trip just keeps growing and growning and growing!!!

Got another great airfare out of BDL on Southwest--$97.00 per person round trip! Not the $75.00 we had earlier, but at this late date I was thrilled to find a fare for under $100!

So, what do you think? Is the mini van rate in the ballpark or could I do better? Thanks!

That seems to be the going rate for 8 days from Dollar. That's what we are paying for 8 days in Sept. Don't forget that that doesn't include tax. I have yet to see any other company beat that price though.

I'm paying the same for the end of November. I haven't found anything cheaper.

I was down in WDW at at the end of May and was able to get a minivan through Priceline at Alamo for $20 /day for 7 days. It may be worth a shot. We had no problems at all.
