Evening All,

My DW and I are off to the world in November. We are looking to go away for a few days in the middle of our stay.

Looking for some inspiration!

Hope you guys can help.

Thanks

David

November is a month when the weather can be mixed so maybe not a beach trip? but if weather is good then possible Clearwater, always good for a night or 2, not as much fun if temps are cool.

We enjoyed St Augustine, we did it in the day but would have been better going for at least 1 night possibly 2. Could call at Daytona racetrack on the way back?

Further afield we drove to Savannah in Georgia, again we did it in the day but easily do a couple of nights there.

Cruising is very cheap in Nov. RCCL are doing free kids in Nov, 4 night cruise for a family of 4 in outside cabin would be as low as £600. No kids? still good value. We have cruised both Disney & RCCL from Port Canaveral, both excellent.

I do like the sound of crossing state lines trying something different. We just fancy a nice relaxing break in the middle of our holiday. Our last 2 trips have been hectic and needed a holiday to recover from our holiday. It's just the two of us and fancy a different pace.

I was going to suggest New Orleans but probably wouldn't be relaxing.

Cruise is a great idea. :)

How about Key West? I went in November a few years ago - weather was nice, not too hot and not very busy. You can either fly or it would be about a 7ish hour drive from Orlando.
