Mini Trip Report/ DIS ALERT

WE ARE BACK! safe and sound...and yet theres a little voice in the back of my head saying are you ready to go back...and another answering YES! lol

I'll let Jade do the DVC explaining...shes got it all down.

We checked on the Haunted Mansion gingerbread replicas and the cm told us they didnt have them...hmmmm.

We'll have pics up in the next day or two...

Welcome back you guys! Glad you had a great trip.
Sorry you hit the heat wave we had here last week, it was roasty-toasty! Can't wait for the pix and TR.:thumbsup2

I know it was like "I cant get away from the heat!" lol But it was a good time for DS to play in Ho Jo's Cast A Way Cove..He loved the plush bucket..lol

ok the promotion going now is 500 to get started. Usely it would be 1600 down they are giving sertion amout off and a 500 gift card that ppl can use to go towardss the amount. after all the stuff she said if we came up with 500 before the promotion ends (she has no idea when) then we can get it.

it would be 260 a month and 700 a year in the fees for the resorts
we would get 160 points
you can bank and save points so if you were to use this years points and next years you have 320 for a trip the points can be split. you can do one day or a week even more if chose right time

I was wondering about the price quoted regarding the DVC presentation, too. For I know that the current cost for Disney's time share, begins at $16,640.00. Therefore, I was figuring too, that it may have to do with some kind of down payment.
Thank you Disney Princess for the clarification.

No problem. I am happy to help if I can. Usually on the DL board I have nothing to offer as help, so i was glad I finally could. :goodvibes

I am sure that you are greatly underestimating what contributions that you can make on the Disneyland side of this website.
How exciting, your first family trip to Disneyland! I hope that you and your family have a wonderful trip and visit to the mouse house! :) If you or another member of your family will be visiting Disneyland (or WDW) on your birthday, or during a family members birthday the admission will be complimentary. It will be during Disney's What Will You Celebrate promotion, (2009) which you probably are already aware of. However I figure it would not hurt for me to mention it, anyway. :)
Don't forget to visit City Hall, to ask for your first visit button. In the event of a birthday, ask for that button as well. :)

Thanks Gisele! We are anxiously anticipating our trip. My husband and I met at WDW on the college program. We love our trips there, but it is time for something new. We've both been (a while ago) to DL with our families as kids, but never together. We are going on our anniversary and will definitely get buttons. :yay: I doubt we'll make it for either of our birthdays, but we'll still have a special celebration.

I appreciate your kind words so much. I have been reading up on the DL boards to prepare, but we still have SO LONG to go. It is just adults in our house, yet we have the paper chain counting down the days. We're still just kids anyway, right? :goodvibes

You are most welcome! :flower3:

Exactly, we are all but children, grown up. :)
I think that is just so nice, that you met in WDW, while taking part in the Disney College Program. Hm, maybe I will meet Mr. Right on my next trip to Disneyland? or... or.... or not! ;) he he!

You just may meet him (Mr. Right) - I'm SO HAPPY that my husband loves Disney as much as me. It would be mighty tough to have to convince him every time I needed a fix. ;) We met there, fell in love there, he surprised me when I was on vacation with my family and proposed there, then we got married on a Disney cruise. We couldn't be more of a Disney couple. It could happen for anyone!!
