Mini panic

I went to the grocery store today and bought a bottle of wine. I went to show the cashier my ID, and I couldn't find it. She let me get the wine, but I was freaking out.

I have to fly in two days. And rent a car. I read that I can fly, but it's a longer delay. Of course the secretary of state is closed tomorrow.

So we got home tonight and I tore everything apart looking for it. The last time I remember having it was Monday, I went to the actual bank teller to take my daughter's daycare money out. Which I then put in a bank envelope. Which I gave to my daughter's day care provider's assistant, who probably never opened the envelope, because her boss is on vacation. So I have no way to get a hold of her and ask, and the daycare is closed tomorrow.


So I assumed all hope was lost. Then I found it! It was in a pair of jeans. I don't even remember wearing Jeans this week.

Whew!!! My husband lost his license and went to get a new one at the end of Oct. They couldn't find a record of him in their system (good ol Minnesota) We had to get a birth cert overnighted from Wisc ($45) and he had to redo all his testing ($21.50) His new license still isn't here... When I called to check on it, they said "hmmm,well HERE'S the record we couldn't find originally ) Hoping Hoping that the new license comes by the 28th...
