Mini Mad Hatter Cake

I wanted to show Ann117 a picture of the mini mad hatter cake. I know I have seen it and its kiling me because I can't find it!!! I have been all through the cake thread and have searched all through google and have looked back through past threads here.

Does anyone know where it is? I was thinking maybe I saw it in the passporter book - but i don't think so and I don't have my laptop at work so I can't check.

I think I remember it was pictured with all of the other types of Mini cakes you can get.

It was only 1 tier and I think it had a butterfly on top if that helps...

Thanks Carrie! That might have been what I was looking at - but maybe not b/c I thought it said mad hatter next to it.

Is the MMH 3 tiers or 1? Have you ever seen it?

A-ha! That post also shows a different cake labeled "Miniature Swirl" so the pic I posted is the Mad Hatter Cake! Thanks for the link!

Funny, I expected it would at least be lopsided, if not 2 tiers, since it's more expensive than the 2-tier mini cakes. Must be all the decoration.

Are those cute little mini cakes really 25 each? WOW. lol. 500 bucks for 20 mini cakes for an Escape.

Are the other mini cakes more affordable, they are so cute!

I just never get sick of seeing everyones wedding cakes!

The cheapest mini cake is the $17 Champagne cake in buttercream (which is also in that post). The Traditional and the Swirl are $18 each. Mini cakes are expensive cuz they take so much work. I always when bridal magazines suggest them as a cost-saving alternative to a big wedding cake.

then you miss out on the extra cake. lol.

It would be cute to have a small wedding cake and make minis as take homes for the guests. Then when they are at the resort and want a midnight snack.......

I had remembered seeing something that said mini mad hatter and thought it was so perfect! Then I couldn't find it anywhere!!!!

I am sorry its not more mad hatterish but if you talked to them they might be able to do something custom that was a little lop sided.

I'd suggest asking your cordinator or planner if it's something they can even do. They may not have mini pans to make a mini verison, and if so it's going to be about 20-25 a cake, imo.

so if you need 20 cakes, it would be cheaper just to get a big 2 tier mad hatter.
