We would like to Play Winter Summerland Golf. How would we get there by Disney bus? Is it by Blizzard Beach...if so, do we catch a bus to Blizzard beach and walk over? What happens if we are going when Blizzard beach is closed for refurb..I assume busses do not run then???

It should answer your questions, you just need to substitute your resort.

Actually, Winter-Summerland is located at BB, not just by it. The W-S and BB entrances are right next to one another, and equally close to the BB bus load zones.

When BB is open, just take the BB bus and you're there. After BB is closed, you can transfer at Epcot, as detailed in the other thread.

When BB is closed for refurb: in the past, AK bus drivers have been allowed to drop guests at W-S upon request. But we just moved to relying more on the computers for dispatch, so I don't know yet what the situation will be this winter.

Or, as Skelooch will tell you, you can always take a taxi.

I have a question. When Epcot closes at 9pm do the buses keep running to BB till 11pm, and when buses pick you up at BB at close to 11pm do they take you directly to your resort or somewhere else to transfer to a resort, if so where. I assume it's not Epcot because it's already closed.

A few years ago we went to WS in January, when BB was closed. It took us two bus drivers to figure out who was supposed to take us. We got there, eventually. When we left, we wanted to go to DTD. It was a LOT of time to get there! My suggestion, take a taxi. It may cost you $$ but it will save you lots more in time.

I usually rent a car at WDW but the last time we didn't have one, and needed to get to HS at a very early hour. For about $10. we were able to have a taxi pick us up at the resort and drop us off very close to the entrance. I'm considering not renting a car for trips in the future - - just using Magical Express for the airport transfers, and then set aside $100. or so and use taxis to get us to all of our resort restaurant ressies, Downtown Disney, late night park exits, or mini golf. Taxis are VERY convenient - and you can even arrange with Mears Taxi ahead of time (we called the night before) when and where to pick you up.

Yes, the last pickup at BB is at 11 p.m. Officially, they are supposed to take guests back to Epcot (the exception to the closed park rule), as the buses from Epcot usually run until around midnight to accommodate guests finishing up their dinner in the park. But in practice, drivers will usually ask and receive permission to take the guests to their resort.
