Mini golf open?

For sure Fantasia gardens is open. I don't think winter summerland is

According to the Disney website, they are both taking reservations. Best place to check! I linked them on a different thread. Easiest to just Google. Fantasia Gardens definitely open

Nope, Fantasia has been opened since the parks opened

Way back in early July we played one of the Fantasia courses one night. Went a few days later and it was closed for the evening for a “private event.” It appeared to be MLS teams enjoying themselves with Disney’s finest mini golf.

I do wish Winter Summerland was open though.

Fantasia Gardens has been open since June 27. Winter Summerland remains closed.

The week it opened we played.

There is a temperature check station outside. After that, you can approach the building to pay and get a tee time.

Don’t laugh, but Fantasia Gardens is close to our hotel Boardwalk Villas. So can Grandpa just ride to scooter over the road to get there? The rest of us will walk.

There is a sidewalk to get to Fantasia Gardens between the Swan and Dolphin. He would ride his scooter on the path while you walk with him.

They are building a new hotel near the course, but I don't think it is in the way.

As for making a tee time, we gave up with that after being on hold for a while and just went to the course and they put us right on. Perhaps you will have better luck getting through for a reservation.

He will need to scooter to swan and dolphin and there is a sidewalk that goes past the swan pool and cross walk to get to Fantasia gardens. It is right by the new hotel they are building there. I strongly suggest getting a tee time by calling 407 WDW-PLAY. That being said, they lost our reservation even though I could show it to them in my Disney experience - luckily it was at opening time so we didn’t have any issues. Also the course has very little shade. They have a challenging mini golf side and a fun one with all kinds of obstacles on it which we played

The idea of my dad on his scooter on the side of a highway is just hilarious. Glad the transportation is not complicated though!

no highway to ride next to, the street you cross is 2 lane and there is a pedestrian crossing. it closes at 10pm and I believe reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance

60 days in advance or 60 days from the start of your onsite trip - just like dining

ECVs: are the walkways at the mini golf courses accessible? I assume they would be. We've done Winter Summerland once, but it was several years ago and I just can't remember.

For sure thre "fun" course is, not sure snoopy the green one

The walkways seemed to be accessible but I’m not sure all of the holes fully are - I can’t remember if we had to go up levels or not now.

the course is most busy after around 2pm and definitely busier in the evening. If you're going early there's no need for a reservation but you can always make one
