Mini Golf...(Non-WDW)

Hi,

Has anyone tried any of the off site mini golf courses in the area? I was looking at the Entertainment (book) website and saw the following listed:

Congo River Golf (located on 192)

Pirates Island (on 192)

Tiki Island Adventure Golf (on Int'l Drive)

River Adventure (on 192)

All have BOGO (buy one round, get one round free) coupons via the Entertainment book...

Are either of these better than the rest? If you've had experience with these BOGO coupons, can you buy a round for 1 person and use the free round for someone else, or is it only good for one person to play 2 rounds for the price of one? Does this make sense??

I've been to Congo River golf on two different occasions and the kids really liked the place. It has sort of a contest where you have to find answers to clues (you must tell which hole had the answer) you win a small prize. Also there were alligators they could look at. We really enjoyed it! We also (a tradition) go to Pirates Cove at LBV. The boys always must do the difficult course there. Haven't been to the others you site. Lately they've been into the long course at Fantasmic Golf. I would think the coupon would mean buy one round for one guest and get a round free for another guest.

The college where I work has an outing to Congo River each semester. The students really like the place. I have played there and found it fun.

Thanks so much for the replies! We don't do it at home so mini golf would be an adventure for us. Sounds like Congo River is the place to try!
