I posted this on the CB, but thought I might get some help here as well.

I need some help. Dh and I want to go away for a long weekend probably the second weekend in March (Thurs-Sat or Sun) and we can't decide where to go. At first we thought about a weekend in Downtown Atlanta (zoo, aquarium, WoC), then I got a code for a favorite resort in Destin, FL, we have been wanting to go back to Savannah, GA (I can't right now, too many memories of mom to enjoy it), Dh has been after me to go to Biloxi, MS, I thought about New Orleans. I can't decide and he wants me to make the decision.

This is the reason we only go to WDW and then I can't decide which resort to stay in. Can't win for losing

Please help up here, I need to book something soon and request time off work (I have time I will lose if I don't use it) I don't know where to stay in most of these cities (New Orleans, Biloxi) because I have never been there.

We don't have children, don't like cheesy notel/motels, but don't want to spend our life savings on a room, a decent deluxe would be nice. This is sort of a make up birthday trip for hubby, we missed his on his birthday, because my mom passed away.

I have never been to the places you suggested, other than WDW or Savannah, but another good idea if you are into it is a cruise. You get great service, all inclusive , except for alcohol or any on shore excursions. It is romantic and fun. Right now Royal Caribbean has a great deal on a 5 day /4 night to Cozumel out of Ft Lauderdale starting at $299 a person in March...I think cruises are a great way to go because you know the full cost up front and you know what the cabin looks like if you do a virtual tour of the ship. Check out their site , cruising is a fun and inexpensive way to see diff parts of the world, or if you have more money and love WDW do a Disney Cruise.
There are also many all inclusive vacation sites such as a Sandals vacation etc that can help guide you in the direction you want to go if you are looking for a land vacation only, also have you considered Adventures by Disney, they have some fun vacations as well... It all depends on how much money you are interested in investing on your vacation.

Disney world has 3 category in rooms. the value resort has more theme to them the rooms are standard hotel rooms. if you don't mind the over size icons you could save some money staying there. i have not stayed at any of the mods so i can't say anything about them. i just bought dvc last year and stayed at ssr for week it is a very nice resort. if i where you i would look into the moderate resorts.
