Does anyone know where you can buy the individual boxes/pouches of laundry detergent in Canada?

Shot in the dark here.. but any local coin operated laundry usually sells these.

Shoppers Drug Mart. They have a whole assortment of travels sizes of various products.

Or you could take a little from home with you in a zip lock bag.

I hope the TSA doesn't think it is booger sugar.

Our Dollarama has small boxes of Tide! I wish I could find the detergent that used to be in tablets (the Tide ones). They would be easier to pack. I now use liquid detergent though, so I pick up a small bottle for $5 when we get there :)

I was thinking the ziploc thing but I thought they might think it is some high test Canadian Bam Bam:lmao: :rotfl2:

I think this is what we might do. I will also check Shoppers tomorrow like Ham Ham said as we have one close to the house:goodvibes Thanks everyone!

I thought about doing this on my Med cruise, but was afraid what the customs people might think if they searched my bags and found a bunch of baggies of white powder! :rotfl:

I erred on the side of caution and went to the local laundromat and bought some single size packages. They had them available on the ship, but this was easier as I wasn't loaded down with quarters. Oh yeah ... You may want to pack your quarters in your suitcase, instead of keeping the roll in your purse. The inspectors questioned the quarters when they went through the xray machine, and I had to empty my purse to show them what they were.

Oh yeah (again) ... I recommend bringing bounce (or whatever your used to) with you in a baggy. I find if you are used to one brand, you should bring your own, as you don't want a sudden itchy reaction to new detergent to ruin your holiday!

I did exactly as Ham Ham suggested. I used small snack size Ziplocs, and put a load worth in each. Then I put all my little Ziplocs in a larger freezer grade one for better spill proof. Was a bit scared of custom officers and "white powder", but I figured the strong lemon scent of my Sunlight would help convince them if need be. I have very sensitive skin, so there was no way I'd buy small size boxes of some other detergent (especially Tide, which itches like crazy!).

Many Dollar stores have them. They are by far the most convenient to transport and use.
