This kind CM offered for us to be the Family of the Day at The Seas, which we would have glady accepted 99% of the days of the year, but Jill had her mind set on trying to be the first one in for the group picture at Character Spot. Since we were right up at the rope, she thought we had a pretty good chance, so hesitantly (painfully, even) she turned her down.

What a happy way to start a day!

I bet the other children called him Big Nose when he was growing up.

I also bet they're wishing they would have been nice to him now that he's a big star.

This is the picture she wanted, except it would be inside the building.

So, while everyone else would rush to Soarin', we were going to make tracks for Character Spot to get that prized picture.

Yummmmmm, 'Ohana Literally, I do feel like I'm on cloud 9 when I'm eating there. Sooooooo good!! What a great spot you guys had too, looking right out to that glorious castle.

When Chris and I move to FL, we'll most certainly be joining you all for some Poly fireworks! (as long as we're invited!) I can't wait until we finally can have a DIS meet!

I don't know what the problem is at my house but I can't do that on our computers. We have 3 computers in the house and the other two won't let me vote???? Maybe because we are all on one router (they are wireless connections), IDK???? I'm not trying to cheat or anything.... I do have 3 people living in my house and they all have the right to vote, even if one of them is only 7! I just can't stand it that she is so close and I can't add my other votes!

Do you by chance have Apple computers? You have to clear your cache, history, and cookies every day to be able to vote. I had to do that with my iPad and iPhone.

Hi, MeMom, long time lurker, just checking in and letting you know I've been voting for you. I think I've posted on your reports a little bit a couple of years ago. If you want to take a road trip, I'm in
the Cincinnati area, and we've had 2 Disney Stores open in the past month. One opened 2 miles from my house, which is NOT a good thing.

Eta, We just got back from WDW yesterday and did a split stay at Pop and AKL. I thought of Bella while watching the "mingos". My 3 year old son, Carter, kept called them eagles though. Maybe Bella can straighten him out!

Ah the picture of Mickey cradling Brooklynn's face is adorable. This would have made Walt happy i'm sure.The meal looks delicious. We are going to try the Best friends breakfast(will have to pay OOP because we are on the QS dining plan, but Frazer really wants to do it.)Love the photo of the girls eagerly awaiting their dosing down with suncream.

Hi, it's been awhile! My plans to keep up were a major fail; my last post was on page 14 So after several days, I've caught up! Thank goodness for fb, but I still feel like I've missed a lot! It was a little bit of busy life and vacations and a lot of Disney depression caused by having to postpone our trip due to circumstances beyond our traveling companions and our control. But I've missed DIStown! I was so sorry to read about all the losses in our little world, my heart goes out to everyone that was affected by them.

Love love love all the pictures and the girls are adorable I can't wait to see more of your travels from this trip and the one coming up in October!

It sounds like you have a easier class to deal with this year, although I know you still have your challenges! And hooray for having the observation done. It must feel like you can breathe freely for the first time in weeks!

Good idea! I just posted it on my school FB too. All my former students know that I love Disney too, so I asked that they vote for a fellow teacher friend!

Glad the observation is over and done with for now! We had central office personnel (including our superintendent) in the building yesterday for focus walks. We have done this so often, I am completely over it. I had hardly alluded to it beforehand, so one of my students asked me, "What are we supposed to say if those people come in here?" I told them, "Just be yourselves on your best behavior."

Ohana and Fourth of July fireworks look like a lot of fun!

It was a memorable evening.

The observation went well. I am glad to have in behind me until the winter/spring one.

We were postioned like runners in a race as the ropes dropped, but we didn't run.

My class this year is a breeze compared to last year's. Certain ones have their issues, of course, but they are managable.
