Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

Just wanted to stop in for a minute. We are back home now and I hope to catch up soon on your report. We had a terrific trip!!! Oh and tell Bella we saw her Mingos and they were doing fine. :rotfl:

Love the AK pics once again! Can't wait to see the gorillas! And those cupcakes, yummy!

Oh, and I thought I would share with you guys, since I'm sure you'd understand- Today I was reading Everett a book, and on one page there was a picture of a big, round, silver moon. Everett pointed to the moon and said "Epcot". I don't know whether I should be proud, or worried, but I do know that both he and I likely need a Disney intervention!

What a proud Mom you must be! :goodvibes It sounds like it's time for a Mommy/Son trip! :cool1: Better start planning right now... :surfweb:

:lovestruc cupcakesssss! Yum!

I love going through the Pangani Trail. It's a nice place to slow down and really see Disney details. Of course, I hate the bird section. I remember holding hands with tinkgurl and running through it last summer

Meerkats, gorillas and cupcakes? Sounds like a pretty fun afternoon to me! :) Now there's drool on the keyboard....

Atta a boy Everett!!! :lmao: :worship::worship:

I think that scary gorilla was part of my "photo shoot".

Cupcakes !!!!! I know I could never finish one, but they are pretty to look at .

mmm...i want a cupcake now!
I'll have to settle for picking out a cake shaped like Mickey Mouse for Caleb's birthday party!

Has Brooklynn looked in the draws in the are were the naked mole rats are? I'm just asking cause when we looked we found huge roaches, beetles and bugs. Interesting but they gave me the creeps.

Enjoyed the gorillas. Loved the cupcakes!!!!:lovestruc

I love the walking trails!!

Who knew they had such great looking cupcakes there???
I will be in search of one next trip & I will have NO problem eating it all!!:goodvibes

I hope you guys get to visit with him too. LOL, he's such a early sleeper - he misses out on all the fun. :lmao:

Yup Pat, that's it. Thank you so much, I'll PM you right after this post. What dust?;)

It did make my day:goodvibes

MeMom, one day your gang will be going on a Wild Africa Trek, never fear.:thumbsup2

That looks like a big cup of milk.

I like the size of those cupcakes :)

Loved the safari pics! While looking at them, "Circle of Life" was playing on my pandora disney station! Perfect! Those cupcakes are amazing. Disney does cupcakes right!

I have a question for you MeMom and any others that have attended the Halloween party. My sister, my boyfriend, and myself are headed down 2 weeks from today! and we will be attending the party for the first time. Any tips you could offer would be great! Like the best place to watch the parade and how lines for characters are and so forth. I would really appreciate it!

Thanks for the video link - of course, I cried and laughed. What a wonderful family!

Loved the sunny safari as we have a gloomy week in PA...multiple floodings in area, but not nearly as bad as other areas. Loved the pictures and the thought that Jackie's giraffes were sure to make her smile.

I can't wait to see Disney classrooms! I do incorporate Disney as much as I can but it through lessons... Today, I began my AP class with some pictures to begin our discussion of Krakauer'sInto Thin Air (account of the 96 disaster on Everest)... I asked whose tent this was...

and shared some other photos...it wasn't until they saw the ride photo (:lmao:) that someone asked, "Is this Disney?" :wizard:

I would love to get info also. We are headed down towards the end of Oct. for our first time at MNSSHP.

I am sure more can chime in in about the MNSSHP but these were my observations.

- Make sure you get a picture with the 7 dwarves. This is the only time they will be all together.
- The headless horseman will come down right before the parade. I think I was by the hub but others can give you places to watch.
- A tip I read was to go the last mix and mingle. That worked for me.
- Don't miss the fireworks.
- You can get in as early as 4pm on party day. If you do ride then enjoy the party special things so you get them all in.
- Candy lines are for all and again later at night = more candy.

Anyone else have anything?

I'm really glad your car didn't get smashed!!!

It's great to hear that college is going well. :) Having friends to talk and laugh with and to study with is definitely a plus. :thumbsup2 Do you have a favorite class?

Sure hope you get a 2012 WDW trip! ::yes::

I love my psychology class. It's a mass lecture with 300 people. I wasn't sure if I'd like the lecture-style class but I actually love it. And it's not just because there's no homework :rotfl: I'm glad I didn't schedule Friday classes. I'm gonna try to do the same thing next semester. I've discovered that if you get to school between 9:00 and 9:45 you'll find a parking space, but yesterday when I got there at 10:00 I had to drive around the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting for someone to leave so I could get a spot :headache: So for my 11:00 class Mon/Wed I'll just get there a lot earlier than I need to and go to the library until class and do homework or something. I'm never gonna be late for class :rotfl:

I hope so too :thumbsup2 I had a new thing to add to my list of reasons why I need a Disney trip the other day ;) I told my mom that it would help me with my anthropology class. My teacher was talking about the first writing on paper being done in Egypt and I remembered hearing that on Spaceship Earth. Then yesterday he was talking about the Nile River and I immediately thought of the Jungle Cruise :rotfl: Of course my mom wasn't buying that excuse because she's smart and pointed out the fact that by January I'll be done with that class :lmao:

I'm craving cupcakes after that last update...

Thanks for those tips! I can't wait to experience it! We are planning on being there at 4pm sharp. Just hoping for good weather now. My sister is excited because we can almost view the 10 day forecast:laughing:

Thanks Poolrat. I cannot wait! We will be going on Oct. 27th. I have been wanting to go to Disney during that time of year for a long time. So we will get Food & Wine & MNSSHP in one trip.
