Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

How lucky that you were able to do the M&G before Flynn went on his long journey! (is that what they're saying?) The pictures turned out great! I love that the table has a sun on it, that's such a nice little detail :goodvibes

Hi Jill & MeMom!!

Between 2 Disney trips back to back in May & June, a promotion at work, and moving I fell severely behind on the Geen Yight report. I just finished it today and I had a feeling there was was gonna a link to a new report at the end! haha

It was a great report and I promise I'm going to keep up with this one. Can't wait to read and start chatting with you all!

Also MeMom, when in October are you ladies heading? I'll be there towards the end and would love to finally meet you all!

Yay for Disney trips and promotions, but boo for falling on your behind.

Oh....falling behind, not on your behind.

Gotcha! :thumbsup2

We probably leave before you get there. We leave the afternoon of the 19th. Let us know.

How fortunate that you were theer on the last day Flynn Rider was appearing! We just missed him. We were able to see Rapunzel though. Going early in the morning is so worth it.

That line was long every single time we passed it!

Great pictures & update.
Brooklynn is so brave to go on Space Mountain so young..I didn't start riding until a few years ago! Can't wait to ride it while i'm there though..today i got into single digits (only 9 days left!). :woohoo:

She really has become the brave little thrill rider girl. :cutie:

Yay, yay, yay for single digits!!! :dance3:

Wow, 2nd in line to meet Rapunzel & Flynn! :woohoo: So glad you were able to see them when both characters were still there. Did Rapunzel comment on Brooklynn's hair? It looked so cute, and perfect for the meet and greet :goodvibes

Yay Brooklynn for riding Space Mountain! :yay:

Yes, she did comment on her hair. They were both very sweet.

That 'before park opening' breakfast worked out perfectly. That was all Jill's doing.

I cannot believe that I only had 10 pages to catch up on after being gone for a week! I had these visions of being about 4372638746 pages behind! But now I am all caught up and ready for more fun!

It looks like a great time has been had by all in the Magic Kingdom! Breakfast looked delicious and so did Flynn Rider! I am still praying they'll bring him back so I can see him in September. However, as long as I can see something Tangled-related I'll be happy!

MeMom - I'm glad to hear you survived camp and all of that tiger trouble! And that the police didn't find anything but a mess in the house. I think if that ever happened to me they would think a really unorganized ,Disney-obsessed hoarder lived there! (I don't know why, but I tend to keep things in re-useable shopping bags:upsidedow)

Things were great in Indy! Insanely hot so we didn't do much but I got to see the kiddos and the new baby and go to the children's museum and tour Colts stadium....and help my cousin and her husband plan a surprise Christmas trip with the kids! I called and did their reservations, made all of their ADRs, bibbidi-bobbidi-boutique appointments! They're gonna tell the kids at the airport (they'll be 5, 3, and about 6 months old at that point) It was hard to come home yesterday. If I can figure out how to get the photos off of my iPod I'll share them!:goodvibes

Oh! And for the 3 rides I choose Haunted Mansion, Pirates and Splash Mountain!

It'll be good to see the guys again at the holidays and special events.

Teachers tend to be packrats. I was just texting with Anita about that this afternoon. We always think we can make a game or activity out of a piece of junk. Sometimes, we can. Quite often, we end up with something that collects dust for seven years, and then we throw it out. ;)

A surprise Christmas trip - that is awesome!

Great character photos! Loved the flowers in Brook's hair!! Ellie is so sad that Flynn is gone. We headed over there one day but the line was downright horrible so we decided to skip it. Then when I found out that Flynn was leaving I felt really bad. I did read that he may be around during MNSSHP so I am crossing my fingers we can find him then.

Naveen left a day or two after Flynn, I believe. I wonder why they are taking all the gents out?:confused3

The line was horrible every time we walked by.

So sad that we lost those nice fellas. Maybe the screaming 50-somethings were just too much for Disney World to handle. ;)

No, not me.
I never screamed.

Out loud.

I screamed inside and wrote Naveen with little hearts for the v's.

So, in response to the ride favorites that were shown on the board (uh, hum, Jen)...the results show Haunted Mansion as the #1 favorite, followed by Pirates, and then Splash Mountain. Those are the three I figured it would be, but I wasn't really sure of the order.

So glad that Brooklynn was able to see Flynn! (I love Tangled, but I really wish her hair was short and brown!!!)

The officer has no idea that you have a crowd of people who would love to eat at your house for a party or even dinner...

Love the name badges photo!

Come on over whenever you are traveling through this way. We are always up for having company for dinner.

I think Jill was equally as excited about catching Flynn on his last day.

How lucky that you were able to do the M&G before Flynn went on his long journey! (is that what they're saying?) The pictures turned out great! I love that the table has a sun on it, that's such a nice little detail :goodvibes

Yes, they said he had to go on a journey.

The sun was a cute detail. They gathered the kids around and had them color and dance and such while the adults stood in line. It worked nicely.

Jill used such great planning skills to meet Rapunzel and Flynn! An empty Main Street, a yummy breakfast, and a fun meet and greet all in just over an hour. That is a successful morning in my book!

Yeah, that's it...

or maybe you were too busy thinking about your birthday wish list. :)

Hope you have a fun birthday! :wizard:

Yeah that's it. I do have a birthday wish list--- in my siggie. :rolleyes1

I had a fun day - a little work ( it was payroll day ) a Dis Meet and dinner with friends. I need to post that Dis Meet on my TR.

I'm happy the girls got to meet Flynn before he "retired". I love how Jill put the flowers in Brooklynn's hair to match Rapunzel. So cute!

Brook really is one brave girl, riding Space so young! I wish I was an adventurous child but I'm sad to say, I was a wimp!

Woo hoo! Go Brookie! Like Kristen, I didn't ride Space Mountain until I was older. :thumbsup2

I wish I was at the MK right now! :sad1:

Love the updates.

I love CP for an early breakfast. We usually book it every trip.

Brooklynn is so cute trying to shape Mickey's ear on the waffle & her hair looks so pretty!!

My picks would be Splash, BTMRR, & Pirates.

I am glad that you got to talk to your police friend. That is so funny that they noticed the food.

If you can only choose three of these today, which will you choose?
(Go with all rides/attractions being up and running - including the new Tiki Room.)

disneysummmmer115.jpg

Of those listed, I'd go with Big Thunder, the Haunted Mansion and Pirates. Now....to wait 66 mores days.

Thanks for the pics of Crystal Palace breakfast. I'm excited to eat there! I've been there for dinner but not breakfast.

Brooklynn's hair looks so cute with the flowers in it! Did Rapunzel notice? What did she say?

I know you're gonna get to this but I can't wait to hear what Brooklynn said about Space Mount-in. That was my first roller coaster (I think I was around Brooklynn's age), even before the Wabash Cannonball at Opryland. And one of the funniest memories I have of Disney World as a kid was when Brett was 5 years old and we were riding Space Mountain. He was right behind me and as we were going up the incline I heard this little "heee-heee" a la Michael Jackson. (This was 1992 and he was a HUGE MJ fan.) When we got off the ride I asked him what he was doing that for and he said, "I was really scared and nervous so I decided to do something funny to make myself laugh." :lmao:

All caught up today! I love your trip reports, but I've missed the last few. I have been so busy the last year with a new job, and adjusting to working full time again. I'm settling in enough to find time to be back on though.

Wow the girls have been on a lot of Disney trips! They are adorable! Their intro pics are fantastic, they would make a great ad for Disney.

I love Crystal Palace! So nice to see your breakfast photos!
The photo of Brooklynn recreating the ear on her waffle is so funny! :rotfl:
I hope Bella starts to warm up to the characters in the next trip or two.

I'm glad you met Rapunzel and Flynn! Brooklynn's hair is beautiful!

Love, Love the empty Magic Kingdom photos. My favorite is the one of the castle across the gardens, so bright and colorful, sunny and beautiful.

If I were to pick three rides it would be: BTMRR, Jungle Cruise, and Haunted Mansion.

If I had my kids with me they would have us ride BTMRR, BTMRR, & BTMRR. :upsidedow I think they want to set a record on there.

The new lego displays look amazing! We'll have something new to look forward to next time!

You realy had me laughing with your police officer story. I love your description of the house. I have many days that would be like that. And all he thought about was all the food, he probably left your house feeling very hungry!

Thank you for diagnosing the root of my packrat habits! I guess it's the (former) teacher in me. Now I can tell DH that I didn't make up the 7-year rule, it's official. Which reminds me, I need to make a Goodwill drop-off this week. Those old clothes are not making themselves into a quilt.

Thanks for keeping me honest on the ride choices. I didn't mean to be naughty, I really thought FP would keep the spirit of the thing and still let me stretch to four. I am the queen of "just one more thing." Especially at Disney. One more ride, Dole Whip, show, night at Pop ... Happily, I already got my one more night at Pop for this trip. :goodvibes

Sorry I have been AWOL for a while - I've enjoyed catching up!!!

Love the Crystal Palace breakfast. We are doing our first one in approx. 4 weeks time!

16 days to go! xxx

Such a cute meeting with Rapunzel and Flynn! :lovestruc

Hurray for Brooklyn being brave enough to try Space Mountain! Can't wait to hear the verdict!

Okay, clearly Chelsea has been brainwashing me -- she seems to think she is an adult these days and when I saw her name and your comment about three DIS kids and one grown-up DIS kid, my first thought was, "Does MeMom mean Chelsea is the grown-up DIS kid?" Then, I looked at the other names and quickly thought, "Oh, Marc. She means Marc." :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: I swear I am going to be a blithering idiot by the time she moves out.

I'm very excited! I'll even nicely ask my dad to please keep the glasses off when I see you, Lana...not like he ever listens to me when I ask anything like that, but it's worth a shot. At least you'll know it's me, right?

:rotfl2:...please don't!
I already told my DMom and Lexi about your Dad and the glasses....so they will be prepared....just in case. I think the glasses are great! :rotfl2:

What a bummer we missed both Naveen and Flynn. :sad2:

If the rumor is true that he will be at MNSSHP.... that will make Lexi a very happy girl! :)

She has never forgotten about missing Tiana & Naveen on the last trip.
We did try..3x but it never worked out.

She told me she is deffinitely meeting her this time, no matter what.

Rapunzel looks so pretty with her long hair.
I love the sweet pics with the girls!
You can see Bella had a smile.
The flowers in Brooklynns hair were a lovely touch! :thumbsup2

How cool that ya'll were 2nd in line to meet Rapunzel and Flynn on his last day! That must have been special! Can't wait to hear about Brooklynn's ride on Space Mount-in haha! Your family seems so sweet Memom! I am glad they are coming to visit you this week!

So glad to see the Crystal Palace breakfst pics. We booked it for thbe first time in september and your report just made me so excited to try it!
That Flynn.....he's a hunk! Lol! Brooklyn looked so cute with the flowers in her hair!

Loved the Rapunzel meet! That is top on our list for October. The girls look so cute in their outfits too and Brooklyn's hair was perfect! :cutie:

Got a question... does anyone know what/if changes are being made to the Rapunzel meet other than Flynn leaving? Is she going to be meeting in a different place? My DD has her heart set on meeting her, but I'm not sure if they are changing the whole M&G or just removing Flynn.

Go Brooklyn for riding SM!!! I want to know why you say you won't be riding it in October? Are you not a fan Memom?

My kids aren't that excited about Rapunzel. :confused3

I think DD would certainly pose with her had she the chance but I'm not 100% sure she would wait in line to do so.

DS barely ever poses with characters so I know for a fact he'd pass on the opportunity. Silly boy!

This past weekend DH ran a 10K in a "Running from Cancer" sponsored event and the kiddies got into the...wait for it...

DISNEY DASH!!

They had several ladies dressed as various Princesses, Tink, Cruella DeVil and even a rogue Buzz Lightyear (he was a cutie!) so what did my kids do?

Get me to take pics of them posing with the characters, of course! :rotfl2: DS passed on posing with Buzz and DD said no also but we got most (if not all) of the ladies and DS even jumped in on one or two.

We spent half an hour before the race tracking each and every character down (except Buzz of course) and getting photos with DH's android phone.

I haven't uploaded them to my computer yet but there was one Princess in a green dress who didn't identify herself and we couldn't figure out who she was supposed to be. :confused3 The only princess I could think of in green was Tiana but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be her. The dress looks more like the one Fiona wears in Shrek.

Anyway, those pics of the Bella and Brooklynn getting their Tangled on were super cute...as usual!

:thumbsup2

Yay, all caught up on the report!! First off, the plan in October right now is the 20th-24th, BUT airfare seems to be much cheaper if I leave earlier in the week like the 17th or 18th. Hopefully that works out and we'll get to meet up!
Second, LOVED the flowers in Brooklynn's hair! So pretty! :lovestruc
Third, glad the girls got a chance to see Flynn before he left. I think that meet and greet is absolutely GORGEOUS! We got there too late in the afternoon to meet Rapunzel and Flynn but I was able to snap this pic. It's one of my faves from the trip
