So glad you had a great time at Brooklyn's grandparents day.

It helps time pass to stay busy until our next trips, but not TOO busy.

If it makes you and Anita feel better I haven't started packing either. I hate to pack and I hate to unpack more.

I really didn't think Ty would have a clue where I will be those 4 days but he still shouts Disney when he see anything that has to do with the magic place.
So not only will I miss him but I want to share it with him.

Sarah starts her new job the day after we return from our trip. She will have much more time off so the next Nashville meet she will come with me so she and Trent will have time to meet. If he isn't too busy.

Thanks for the kind words. I saw her daughter today, as she just transferred to our school this year. She was pretty frazzled with all of the end of the nine weeks things we have to do in the midst of this sad event for her family.

So glad you are leaving this weekend! Have fun, relax, and enjoy being with Brooklynn. You need the break. I am sure you have heard that lawmakers are taking a second look at the evaluation system in Tennessee due to major stresses on teachers and administrators. I hope it leads to change.

I briefly heard they were taking a second look at it. Meanwhile, we're suffering through the craziness for this year. Eval #2 coming up for me the first week in November.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Even if a passing is expected or not a complete surprise, it's still very very hard. I'll be praying for them.

Caroline's baby sister is due TODAY, so we've been on baby watch here. Hopefully I'll go to Chicago this weekend & see her. Her mommy is getting pretty uncomfortable so I know she wants to get this show on the road. I'll post a picture as soon as I have one.

I got a green lid Halloween one & a red lid Villians one instead.
I got all the other parks.

I was like you and never requested a room before. Enjoyed the surprize.
We got spoiled this time being so close to the main pool & food court that from now on it will be prefered for us.

I will be thinking about you next week and I will smile knowing you are enjoying the well deserved break from teaching.

I would have booked all of us a POLY room for the NYE night except the discount didn't start til Jan.2,12.
It's so tempting but I'm trying to tell myself I don't "need" to stay there. My DMom said I can use the money for more shopping cause I did leave a few things in the stores, that I didn't buy this time. She is so funny. LOL

I hate that Jill will be missing the laughs of having Kay along.

I will look for the MK mug.

One day, I will call Poly home for at least one night.

Wedding plans are going well. I don't know if you noticed, but I now have a ticker for our Disney-moon!!! We can make our ADR's in January, so we're just trying to decide where we want to eat.

I didn't notice, but now that I see it, it makes me very happy!

Okay I'll do it for my DIS friends We're calling this Fake Epcot Meet #2

Oh there will definitely be some ice cream. We discovered "Moo Bella" last year at the little food court at the aquarium. It's a make your own ice cream machine. You pick a flavor and something to mix into it(like oreo crumbs and stuff like that). We thought it was the coolest thing in the world

One of these days we'll have a huge meet somewhere sort of in the middle of the planet that works well for everyone.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Caren! I will say a prayer for the family during their time of loss.

I know you'll get everything done, just wish it wasn't so helter skelter for you!!!!!

I was at Walmart at 5:40 this morning, because that's the only time I had to go. I worked until 6:25 this evening, then went to the grocery store. When I got home, I did get one suitcase packed with a few snacks, and I got the other one pretty much finished with clothes, so I am in good shape now. My eyes are closing on me right now.

Kay might be a little more subdued than usual, though. One of her brothers jsut had a bad wreck last week, and he underwent a ten hour operation yesterday to fuse bones in his spine. He is moving all extremities, but just barely. At least he is moving though. She's been extra stressed by that, of course.

No guilt. Go and have fun. Bella has finally accepted that she is not going to Dizhy Wuhld this time, but she smiles and says she is going at
Senna Caws' time.

I enjoy DIS meets, but I kind of hate that I always look so bad from being out in the heat and wind and all down there. My hair is crazy all the time, but as the day wears on on a Disney day, it gets worse and worse. I should make all my DIS meets indoors and at 7 a.m.

The tutoring definitely threw a wrench in things. Relief is getting closer, though. They announced at the faculty meeting thay they would not lock the Gradespeed program until Monday, so we were free to work on report cards all weekend.

Brooklynn is excited, and I will be starting Friday afternoon. Right now, my brain is overloaded with school stuff.

Brooklynn got a new haircut for the trip. I can't wait to see how cute she looks. Bella decided she needed one, too, and Jill said she plopped right up in the chair and did very well.

I packed. I did it on about a quarter tank of energy, but there is 'stuff' in a suitcase, and for now, that's as good as it gets.

I am totally and completely in favor of this idea! I need to work about twenty solid hours between now and tomorrow to get everything in order to be able to leave all the cares behind, but I am going to give it a really good try.

Bella will be getting a mingo picture, no doubt, and maybe another mingo friend to add to her collection.

I always feel compelled to take a 'ball and palm trees' pictures as I cap off an Epcot day, and I know that several others of you do the same.

MeMom I know how you feel about your hair & such down there. I NEVER look the same there as I do here. My hair frizzes here at home & down there it is 10 times worse so I usually wear a hat down there. When the girls at work see my pictures from my trip they say that it does not even look like me in the pics.

No worries about your hair. I am the same way. I never wear my hair pulled back at home but at Disney it is almost always pulled back. I just got it cut and I have know idea what to do with it. LOL

And I am worse than you about having my picture taken. I hate mine taken too. I don't think I have ever taken a "good" picture. I am just not photogenic at all.

I will be packing a small fan also. I run a box fan year round here. I have to have the noise to sleep. LOL If I could fit my box fan in my suitcase I would.

I guess since you and Anita have got "some" packing done I better get started. I leave tomorrow night!!!!

We leave on Saturday for our trip to California and we will be headed to Disneyland starting on Monday. My MIL is coming with us and she can't wait! I have been getting daily phone calls, texts, and e-mails to let me know how excited she is!
