Mine Train?

I've seen a lot of here and there thoughts/knowledge on the mine train..

Any chance someone has some good info on it? Seems like they should be nearing completion and going towards soft openings...

And as I am going in may, of course id like to ride it.

from all the updates I've heard from various sources I would say there will be at least a soft opening by May. Disney said today in their quarterly earnings meeting that they will be opening it in a few months that is around April May range. The track and cars have been done for quite some time. They run the cars on the track all the time. The main work left in the mountain itself is details. The Snow White cottage, and queue look to be more of the major work left but I don't see that taking much longer. Last week trees and grass started appearing on the mountain. Disney has also said in their parks blog that they are working on details and released pictures with that which shows pretty much what you can see from outside the walls. I've heard rumors that very early May will be grand opening time.
