Mine train soft openings

i think you can be pretty sure that it will be up and running before oct 2014. i was actually wishing for something sooner than fall.

I just returned. Based on what I saw, late spring will be the earliest there would be a soft opening.

I'll be there Apr. 4 - 7, so a soft opening will probably happen a day or two after that.

HA! No, it won't because, we'll be there from April 12 - 19, so the first soft opening will be on the 20th!

With the spring date looming in the future, how early do you think the ride will be ready for soft openings?

Winter hasn't even started. Spring doesn't start for more then 4 months and doesn't end for more then 7 months from now.

Disney has a lot of time before the attraction opening could be considered late.

"It certainly doesn’t look like we’re talking about an opening in six weeks, though I have a source on the engineering team that swears up and down it’ll be operating by Christmas."

I think soft openings towards the end of Feb are not out of the question. Still looks like early spring for the full opening.

You mean 2013?? Was just there two weeks ago and there's been a lot of progress since I was there last in the summer, but there's still a long way to go.

Where is your pixie dust! One can always hope.

The ridge tech (ie: car on rails) could be what that is referring to. That doesn't necessarily correlate to anything else though. If their goal is to have the train working by Christmas, that doesn't mean all the scenery/effects are good to go.
