We were at MK yesterday (Saturday, May 24th) and 7DMT was running off and on during the day. We rode it yesterday around 6:00 PM. We had just finished having dinner at Be Our Guest and 7DMT was running empty trains. As we walked by the entrance, we heard the CMs say the ride was resuming operation. We quickly hopped in line and we rode it within 15 minutes.
Its a cute ride and it should appeal to kids. The ride itself was fun but it seemed to be a relatively short ride. If I were rating it as a thrill-ride roller coaster, I would place it well behind Big Thunder, RockNRoller Coaster, Expedition Everest, and Space Mountain. But 7DMT fits in well with the overall theme and feel of New Fantasyland.
ETA: I don't want anyone to misconstrue my feelings about 7DMT. Its a fun ride and a nice addition to MK. If given the chance, we'll probably ride it several times during our trips.
