WoW! I haven't really updated that much lately. My work stinks so it seems like I work, come home and rest, try to get a few wedding things done, sleep, and then start all over the next day. We have bought a few new items luckily so I can share those now, YAY!!

Now I know we are having a Cinderella Wedding but we are still having a few touches of Mickey & Minnie in some places. I got a great deal from someone I met on a forum for some awesome things so we also are using these.

Matt found out that we could get 40% off invitations at Als Formal wear instead of the 30% we were going to get at Party City so we are looking there for invites now. Unfortunately they don't have the one I so love posted online so if they don't have it in the store either we are considering two other options. I've gotten great response for the 2nd option in the invitations and by far way more than I thought. I thought people would consider it maybe too kidish/ birthday party but lots of people say that love it.

We had a meeting with our florist and though I was a little disappointed she didn't have examples out (she had the flowers I liked out) I think we decided a lot. I'm suppose to get pricing from her within a few days. I'm looking into doing Asiatic Lillies (Orange), Sweet Unique Roses (two toned pink), Gerber Daisies (I believe pink & orange), Freeshias (white), and some Wax Flowers (no they aren't made of wax I asked already...white) with some greenery. I want to see if she can do at least a mini example so I can make sure I like it. My MOH's will have the Orange Asiatic Lillies with a little white (the wax flowers) to match her sash and then the rest orange so a smaller version of mine one some levels and the BMs will have a variety of pinks with no orange and I don't think they will have white either. Can't wait to get some pictures posted if we get an example made.

Well, I'm on my way out to go to the wedding place and speak with them and then on my way to Als probably to sneak-peek at invites with my mom.

Where did you get the garter, I have been looking for something like that. You can message me on myspace if you want to.

My mom and I found them at a shop near or in Dallas, Texas. It was just some little store in one of those areas with different ethnic shops like asian, mexican, and so on.

I forget to update what photography package we are like 99.9% sure we are getting. Matt thought the other was just a bit too much so we are pretty sure we are getting the package right below it. It's still 15% off so that makes me happy but here is what the package looks like:

Package B - $1100

3,000 - 5,000 pictures to choose from!

200 - 4x6 color prints

200 - 4x6 black and white

20 - 8x10 color prints

1 - 16x20 canvas portrait of the Bride


Then we are paying an extra $300 for all the negatives with copyright release. I'm also planning on making the canvas of both of us and probably making it smaller and adding more prints. I think I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the bridal shoot. My BM suggested that I have one of my old Supervisors do my hair so I'm going to find out when she can do it soon as a trail and set up my Bridal Shoot for the same day. Just wanted to update the wedding photography portion.

OH! I'm trying to find out a great person and great price for a Honeymoon Photo Shoot at WDW so any suggestions, I'd love to hear. I was wondering if Randy Chapman does Honeymoon shoots or not because I've heard nothing but great things about him. If anyone knows could you please link me an email or something to reach him? I would like to know prices also, thanks!!

You are getting a freaking steal on your photography. Ours is going to be about $3400 with 6 hours of photography with two photographers, Bridal portrait session with 2 5x7s and 1 16x20, all the rights for our photos which is a good deal because my fiance's grandpa and uncle own a photo studio so we get any size picture and amount of pictures free, and we also get 10x10 20 page storybook wedding spread thingy. So all in all you're getting a really good deal. Photography here is so expensive though, that is about the average price for 6 hours of photography some places charge up to $8000 though so really we're getting a good deal considering.

There are a few photographers that have the price I'm getting with about the same amount around here, then there are several with that same amount of photos for double the cost! I lucked out getting a postcard and actually emailing the lady to ask about a colored dress on her card that I LOVED for BM. I wanted to ask about her prices also and I lucked out! I got the 15% because I asked if she did it since we met at a Bridal Show. I won our DJ at a bridal show for free completely! I'm jealous you get prints for free! That's pretty awesome though. We get her for basically unlimited hours, we are using her from like 9-9:30ish up until it's over at like 3 or 4. I'm probably opting to add the extra few hundred for another photographer but we are also having a few friends and probably his sister that will take pictures as well. LoL

I like the second new invitation a lot, it's not 'kid-like', lol. And the glass cylinder is pretty too--pink/orange should be very pretty!

I'm so bummed... I found out that the 2nd inviation is a seal and send and I didn't like the way it worked. So I'm unfortunately bailing on that idea BUT they had the original one I liked so I'm getting to stick with it, YaY!

I LOVE how your centerpieces turned out!!

Im done the carriage before but I love how you did it with the crystals & boa!!!....if you want to add lights, they have some great options out there!!

WOW! I haven't been on here in ages, I'm sorry everyone. I've got a LOT to update on and several pictures for ya'll to take a look at.

First off....Our invitations are ordered and when I went to check on Monday the preview they spelled Matt's last name wrong, they put DENN instead of PENN. They SHOULD be in this week and then we will be mailing them out, YAY!! Al's Formal actually ended up having the ones I wanted all along so we got:

For the people that are special to us we got these for their invitations. It's nothing real special but a cute little extra. It's for like the parents, grandparents, aunt & uncle, siblings...and I'm not sure who else. Here it is:

Bridesmaids dresses FINALLY came in! Double YAY I'm a little upset though because we ordered my MOH a white sash to transition into my white dress and they sent her an ORANGE! I was pretty calm and asked when it would be it, I was assured early August so in time thank goodness. Because there was a mess up I got to keep the orange one they sent which I might use on the Flower Girl around her dress. I haven't decided for sure because I want to keep it and I was thinking of different things I could use it for. I finally got Matt to take some pictures of the final bridesmaids dresses so now I can show ya'll. Here is what they look like.

I posted this picture on my myspace and I'm going to let people believe (until they actually see for sure at the wedding) that this is what they are wearing:

I also decided that I am going to put a little "charm" to each girls bouquet and give them a little something to seperate them. We are going to have a roman knot on the handle of the flowers (I'm like 99.9% sure of that) and I think the charms will be attached in a knot.

We also bought our wedding bands just recently, actually we fully paid them off on Wednesday. We had put down a small deposit on mine the Friday before we paid them off. Here is what we got.

Oh yeah...These are the table cards we are using. These will be the main cards on each table and then the cards with names will have the same picture to match.

Another DISer made these for me. Depending on how many tables we have decides on how many we use.

OMG! I'm an idiot!! I have one going on the brides board but didn't do it on here yet. I'm sorry. I've been so busy I haven't even really kept up with it on there either. I'll get one started within the next few days. I have volunteer work with Wish with Wings tomorrow. You always make my day!!!
