Hey there!

I just wanted to write and let everyone know....

Anyone who has been to Disneyland in California is probably familiar with MIMI'S CAFE. It's a great "family friendly" restaurant chain located all throughout the state of California.

Well, Mimi's Cafe has come to Orlando!!!

They have a new location that is opening on Tuesday, January 27, 2004. It is located near the Mall at Millenia off I-4. Probably about a 15 min drive from Disney World. (About 5 mins from International Drive).

It's a great place. I've been inside, and actually "tasted" the food. The prices are hard to beat. Most entrees range from $7-9 per entree!!!! It's VERY reasonable, but VERY nice inside!

I know where the Millenia Mall is.. that is suposedly a fairly upscale mall (with Neiman Marcus/Lord and Taylor/another upscale store being the anchor stores).

If the prices stay reasonable, I would venture to check it out.

Thats sort of near Universal/Sea World.

Yeah for making the announcement...I'm originally from Cali...and LOVE MIMI"S! The french onion soup is the BEST...and so is everything else on their menu!.....We just went to the Mall of M in Dec...and while driving...I told my DS...hey that looks like a ....a....
MIMI"S!....I'm so happy they are finally getting some GREAT restaurants around here!...

I checked out the menu and it looks really good! We may have to try this on our next trip. There weren't any prices on the menu though? You said it was reasonable?

YAY!!!

Ate at Mimi's in Colorado Springs a few years ago....so good! Even came home with the recipe for their Carrot Bread...absolutely divine! (Recipe is on website, too!)

Can't wait to eat there again next time we're at WDW! Can't believe I'm actually planning to eat off-site!! No way!! Well, I guess I can for Mimi's!!

We have them in Phoenix- you get a HUGE muffin with all salads. Cost is very reasonable and the food is always good. We eat there alot.
