I have finally found us what I think is a cheap fare! $182/person roundtrip, nonstop. Has anyone gotten cheaper? Thoughts? Booking thru cheapoair.com for March 6-13. Thanks!

Oh great, we took too long to decide and the price is gone :/ Back to waiting I guess

You might want to check flights out of Rockford also. I have gotten really good deals and parking is free.:goodvibes

You do fly into Sanford not MCO but I just rent a car and never have any problems.

Thanks. Thats who we flew with last time. Our issue is the weekend flights don't pick up til the weekend after we go and we're trying to keep costs down and not rent a car. Now DH tells me he wants to fly out of Madison. Argh!

We flew to MCO out of MKE last Feb and paid around $200 RT and I was pretty happy with that so anything under that would be a bonus to us. Good luck with the new search for a flight. I know how you feel about waiting too long. I'm sure you'll find something that you're happy with. Have a great vacation.

Now Southwest as well as Air Tran flies out of MKE to MCO. I would think that RT prices(inc. taxes/fees) of $160-180 is pretty fair.

I bought tickets in August for our trip next weekend. They were $79 for a LONG TIME, so of course I dragged my feet. Then they jumped to $99 and I bought them. Then a week later they went down to $79. I went on and got a credit. A few weeks after that they went to $74 and again I went on and got another credit ;)

So, the worst that can happen is the ticket prices go down and you get a credit. Oh darn, that just means another trip :rotfl:

Flying out of Madison is ok. BUT, remember you will be going in MARCH!!! Remember the basketball curse of March! It ALWAYS snows for the basketball tourney's. Last year we flew out of Madison on December 19. I really think we were the first and only flight out that day! Madison Metro cancelled school that day. We missed our connection at Ohare and were stuck there for 5 hours. It was a nightmare!

You don't say if that's non-stop or not. If non-stop and that's including all taxes and fees, it's good. When we flew MKE to MCO the first part of this past November, we paid about $181 per person and I never saw the fares go any lower than that. I booked about 6 months in advance. Last January, we paid about $260 per person round trip MKE to MCO, so fares are definitely lower than they were. We're booked for Jan. 2010 at about $190 per person round trip.

I just checked the prices again and this time booked without waiting to hear from DH :lmao: $182.70/person from Milwaukee! Nonstop! Sweet!!
