Million Dreams Promotion

After reading the press release etc, about this promotion I don't understand how the "dreams" are going to be awarde. It says by the Cast Members but I don't understand, am I missing something on this? I know they are having the contest to enter but this is just for the family to have the park to themselves correct??

The sweepstakes is a separate feature from the 'million dreams' feature of the newly-announced promotion. You'll have to read the sweepstakes rules to see what the prizes are, but I'm reasonably certain the entry deadline is BEFORE the start of the actual promotion; otherwise, how could the vacation prize be awarded in time to be taken October 1 - 4; the "Dreams" promotion STARTS October 1

This is how I understood it:

The online entry is for the Family to have the Magic Kingdom to themselves. And that winner will be selected by the start of the promotion.

The other promotion, such as the Golden Fastpass, and night spend in Cinderella's Castle is going to be given out by the CM's. (However, I thought that it implied some sort of predetermined manner- not just randomly handed out.- but what do I know!)

According to the news on the home page of the Dis, the winners will be randomly chosen by some sort of computer program, so the CM's have no control over who wins.

They just get to give out the magic!!!!

I might be dreaming this but didn't they do this like 10 years ago. You won a prize when you entered the turnstile --every so many people- like the 5000th person of the day would win a golden fastpass, the 5100th person would win a private meeting with Cinderella, etc etc.

I don't know how they are going to do it at DTD or the hotels, BUT I CAN"T wait!!! I want a golden FASTPASS or even better I lifetime of Disney vacations!!! (It would go perfect with my DVC).

I wonder if they will give out prizes to people that are dressed in "Disney" clothes or in other unique attire. It should be a FUN year!!
