Milkshakes for kids at mealtime?

Are they offered, or did I dream this? And if they are, is there a charge?

I don't have a clear memory on this, and maybe it was at WDW. However, on our first DCL in 2002, I think I remember DD ordering a shake w/her dinner (in one of the dining rooms), and we were told that shakes were extra. Yikes! I think they were 3.00 or 4.00.

Am I crazy? Was this somewhere else? Or did this really happen? LOL!

Can anyone clarify this for me?

Yes, they are offered and yes, there is a charge. I believe they are in the $3.50 range. They call them smoothies.

Yes, your kids can order smoothies in different flavors....there is definately a charge for them. We opted to have our smoothies during the show (early). Kept the tummy from rumbling before dinner!!! Chocolate smoothie was great!!! All the smoothies, whereever you order them have a charge...I think around $3.50 plus the auto gratuity.

Thanks! I thought I remembered her having a shake at Parrot Cay.

I think we'll just stick w/Shirley Temples, and have ice cream at Scoops.
