Can anyone tell me where I can find the best milkshakes in the parks. My DD loves milkshakes and just wanted to be able to find them as quickly as possible in whatever park we are in . TIA

I've never had a milkshake in any of the parks - I can't quite believe that! The only ones I have had are at the McDonald's at DTD and at Olivia's (as a dessert!)

Mrs. Pott's Cupboard and Pinocchio Village Haus in the Magic Kingdom (very thick, pretty much just ice cream). The ice cream shoppe on Main Street most likely has them, though I've never checked.

I'm not 100% sure if they have milkshakes, but Dinosaur Gertie and the ice cream place on Hollywood Boulevard in MGM. Also, the Sci-Fi has some pretty thick milkshakes.

I can't think of anyplace in Epcot or the Animal Kingdom that has milkshakes offhand.

Sci Fi in MGM generally gets thumbs down reviews for service & food - but they DO have excelllent milkshakes if you ask me. We've eaten there 3 times & plan to go back again this year. We've always loved it, and the kids just love sitting in the cars watching the old sci fi clips while we eat. I'll agree it's not exceptional food or service, but we've always had good burgers, sandwiches & milkshakes. No complaints from me.

can be found at 50's PrimeTime at MGM...YUM!

Beaches and Cream at the Yacht and Beach Club is usually considered the best place to go for anything ice cream related.

Agree with 50s prime time and Beaches & Cream... those are the 2 best.

At 50s Prime Time you can sit at the bar and order one without having lunch.

SciFi has a great milkshake...
Mrs. Pott's Cupboard claims to have milkshakes but they arent... they are soft serve icecream in a cup w/ a straw... When I asked the Cm if he was going to mix it/shake it he looked at me like I had 4 heads.... My Dh said this is just Icecream; he said thats what a shake is.... not the last time I checked! :headache:

There is a place in AK that has amazing floats, I just cant think of the name of the stand... Its right next to a big open bar & they usually have dancers performing there...

Sci-Fi is the best imo. And if your of age the alcoholic milk shakes are amazing.

Most people have already put these, but 50's PT has the best Peanut Butter and Jelly shake! If you are looking for quick, you can go into "Dad's Bar" and order it to go. Beaches and Cream has great ones, but if you get chocolate, expect major rich chocolate!! MK also has smoothies in Tomorrowland that are quite tasty, in a little shop between Star Traders and Cosmic Rays.

The Plaza Restaurant in the MK has very good shakes according to my daughter and husband. My DD's favorite lunch there is fries and a chocolate shake.

But someone posted that the same ice cream is used in all the WDW owned restaurants so it's probably just a matter of finding a flavor you enjoy most.

BTW, surprisingly the ice cream shop on Main St does not offer milkshakes...or at least not this May.

I would imagine Ghiardellis has excellent shakes too but of course that is not in the parks.

If your duaghter really loves milkshakes and is a bit adventurous in her pallete, get her to try a PB&J milkshake from 50s PTC. If you dont want to sit thru the meal, go into the bar area, and the bartender will get you one. We love them!!

We've had great ones at Primetime 50's...

and the Whispering Canyon (Wilderness Lodge) has a bottomless (or endless) shake, where you get all the refills you want in different flavors.

We usually have had sundaes at Beaches and Cream or Ghirdelli's, so don't know about the shakes, but imagine they are great also.

We do this all the time. We HAVE to get the PB&J shake on every trip. Sometimes we get it to go and watch Indiana jones or the parade. Its a great treat!!!

MGM's Min and Bill's Dockside Diner!!!! HANDS DOWN! :rotfl:

sigh....I would love one right now.
