Stupid question I know but can someone please tell me which is semi skimmed milk & which is full fat in all the yrs we have been going to Orlando we have never managed to work it out, and DS 17 loves milk but said last time it wasnt semi !! pain in *** but would love to get it right this time & show off by knowing exactly which is which !!
So red, blue ,purple carton please help. I did say stupid question !!

We always use the 2% fat milk and it tastes just like semi-skimmed. Can't stand full fat milk anymore!

If I remember correctly they have full fat, 2%, 1% and non fat milk.
Full fat is our whole milk and 1% and 2% are versions of semi skimmed with non fat being the same as skimmed.

I lived on the 2% on our last trip, as I wasn't well and ate hardly anything for the fortnight. It does taste like semi skimmed, but then so does the 1%, it depends on personal taste.

If your son is going to be drinking it, rather than you putting it in drinks, get some of each so he can choose which he prefers, there is only a small difference, but he might like one better than the other.

The colour of the label changes depending on where you shop, I think. They don't seem to have the same sort of labelling as we do, ie, same colour for each type in different shops. I remember that you had to read the bottles to find out what type of milk it was.

I bought 2% too thinking it sounded like semi skimmed

My kids were ok with it, so was I in my tea! so I think that's the closest (I find full-fat too creamy now too). If he can't make his mind up between 1% & 2% mix them and give him 1.5% Kids-Bless them.

Milk in Sainsbury is now labeled as 2% for semi skimmed so that is what we get in Florida
