Hi Could anybody help me please. I'm from the UK and flying to the US in a couple of weeks for the first time. My DS is better if he is kept off dairy foods (milk mainly) so over here he has Oat Milk or Rice milk on his cereal.

I have done a quick look on the Walmart website and see that I can get Rice Dream like I get here however I couldn't find Oat milk (which is the one he is best with) could anybody tell me whether this is something I'm likely to find at Walmart and if so what the brand name is please.

I've never heard of Oat milk. But i don't shop Walmart so I can't help you that way. Has he tried Soy milk? That's rather popular over here and widely available though more expensive than cow's milk of course.

Hope you find something that works.

I don't think I've ever seen oat milk for sale here anywhere I've traveled.

It doesn't seem to be widely available here in the States, but I did find a manufacturer on the West Coast that you could perhaps order some from (through Amazon.Com of all places). This vendor is quite pricey.

There's also an organic food co-op in Orlando that has Oat Milk listed on its website - http://www.holisticlivingschool.org/coop/weekly.php . You *might* be able to order the Oat Milk from them (plus this Oat Milk is much more reasonably-priced).

Thanks for the quick replies.

To PP thanks for the Soya suggestion, however he is more allegic to soya than he is to dairy

Pacific foods make oat milk and there are two locations in the Orlando area where you can buy it, they may even deliver.

Whole Foods on Sand Lake rd sells Oat, Rice, Almond, hemp and hazlenut Milk, all in different flavours.

Publix, which is just a few miles down the road from the Walmart near Disney, used to carry the Pacific Oat Milk. They probably still do but I haven't shopped there in a few years so I can't guarantee it. I shop at 3 different Publix stores in FL and all three stock it so I would assume most locations have it available.

You could also go to Whole Foods. They carry it.
