I am purchasing the military salute tickets the day before we arrive at Disney because we have show a ID to activate them. I would love to be able to link them to MDE and FP+ way ahead of time, any suggestions or am I out of luck? Staying off property also..

Do you personally have to purchase them the day before you arrive? We purchased ours last week even though we are going in July because we wanted to be able to link them to our MB and do FP+. We simply linked the code on the vouchers to our MDE account and will activate them at the ticket booth the day we arrive at our first park. I'm not sure how the process works for offsite visitors, except that they can book FP 30 days in advance rather than 60. The only way to do FP+ ahead of time is to purchase your tickets ahead of time as well.

You can link the vouchers without activating them and then be able to make your FP+ reservations at your 60 (if staying on site) or 30 day mark.

I have never purchased the vouchers before, in the past our base only carries one kind, the 4 day hopper / waterparks and I only want the 4 day / waterparks. Was not aware they had a code that I could use. I will have to call them this year to see what they have. Would love to book FP even 30 days in advance

I'm not sure I understand. You activate the tickets at Disney and yes, you need to show ID, but you can buy them more than a day in advance. We are going in June but I bought our tickets (they are actually vouchers) at the travel office on post back in March. I scanned the code on the back with my phone and linked them to my MDE account. We are staying on site so I made my FP+ choices at 60 days out, but if you are staying off site you can make them at 30 days out if you have your tickets linked.

If you want something they don't carry just ask and they can probably order them. They might charge a small fee for shipping. When I went to buy our tickets the man in front of me was picking up 10-day park hoppers they ordered specially for him. Not sure if he was getting a discount on those, but he definitely saved himself the tax. :)

Thanks, everyone!! I will have to go visit my post and see if they have the tickets that I want. We never use a hopper. One park a day is all I can handle.

Check out this website it is a wealth of knowledge.

You can buy the tickets anytime, I bought ours in February for our June trip Had no problem linking vouchers to MDE magic bands and I was able to book FP at 60 days. (On site)

Thank you , will go check it out. I am also going in June, but we are staying off property. My friend is giving us his condo to use for the week. I couldn't pass that up!! Love WDW

We will be buying the military salute tickets (assuming it is renewed again!) and will be using them back to back-four days and then the next four days consecutively. Is it possible to link them this way so we will be able to fast pass all eight days? (Not sure if any of that makes sense, lol)

I was told by three different cast members that we can do that no problem. We're actually getting 6 4 day passes and splitting them between 4 people for 6 days per person.

Edit: I was misinformed, please don't follow this information.
