Sorry, if this is posted in the wrong forum. We are going January 3-10 and staying onsite. We can get a really good deal on our tickets, through shades of green, but would have to purchase once there. That means we couldn't make any fastpass reservations until that night. Is it worth the money saved (about $22 per person) to get those tickets or order regular military tickets and make advance fastpasses? This will be our first visit since they switched and I am worried about not getting on the better rides. Thank you for any advice!::MinnieMo

We ran into the same problem. You're not going at a busy time of year but I think I would still pay the extra to do it in advance. That's what we decided to do and I'm glad we have our FP+ set instead of wondering that times we will be able to get when we arrive.

Hello,

We are National Guard and not near a military base. After searching the internet for a very long time I found this website where you can buy them over the phone from a military base called Camp Pendleton in California. They charge $10 to FedEx them and ours came in about 2 weeks after ordering them. I am not sure that the new Military Salute Ticket offer has been released yet because the current tickets expire on September 27th... Disney tickets are on page 14..

I had trouble typing the ticket numbers in on my computer but with my phone they scanned super easy...

We are retired Navy and normally buy AP's every year. Since we get them through SOG we have never tried to renew them--just buy new ones. We also wondered how we could get our tickets earlier so we could put them on our MB's before we arrived this Sept.
Someone on these boards told us to call Shades of Green and they will let you purchase them over the phone. Then they'll send you a receipt with your ticket numbers on them so you are able to add them to your Disney Experience before you get to the parks. Hope this works for you. It worked for us!

Thanks everyone for the help!:goodvibes I appreciate the input. I wonder if SOG lets you purchase the staying in a Disney Resort Tickets over the phone?
