Military ticket for College Son

Think I know the answer but want to check here. My daughter's boyfriend is going with us next month. HIs dad is active Coast Guard. With him traveling with us, is there any kind of discounted ticket he can purchase? They will just be there for two days.

We got military tickets last year and my son had to be with us to show his military id. I don't think he could get a discount without his dad with him.

His dad or a spouse would have to be there to show their ID while activating the tickets unfortunately.
