Hi everyone!

I have these military tickets that have barcodes printed out at the bottom of a letter, and those are my tickets into the park. How do I use those for fastpasses? Do I need to go to the happiest ticketbooth on earth and they will give me regular looking tickets to slip into the FP machine?

Also, I can't remember which side if Matterhorn is best- the FL side or TL side. I heard the one on he "right" is faster, does that mean FL side?

Thank you in advance!

Last time I was there...about 2 weeks ago... there was only one main line that feeds into both sides from that point, I have no idea what is faster..they both seem fast to me. My fav is when you are by the little gate and there are only 2 of you and they pull you in! NICe and fast!

If they are like regular online tickets, you take the sheet of paper directly to the turnstiles and they will exchange your paper ticket for a regular ticket you can use in FP machines on the spot. If what you have however says it's a voucher or something, you'll have to take it to a ticket booth. Read the paper's fine print, it should tell you what to do.

For the matterhorn, sometimes there's 1 line that feeds into both once you arrive at the overhangs/covered part of the queue. At busier times they use two lines. When I was there a couple days ago, the TL side was about double the wait time as the FL side for the morning. I don't know if people didn't know there were two lines or what. But then once it got crowded both lines converged at the bottom of the mountain.

As for which side is better? TL has that one little dip that the FL side doesn't. Other than that, they both see the Abominable Snowman twice, they both have lots of turns and drops, they both drop into water at the end. There isn't a huge difference. Go on the side with the shorter line.

I prefer the TL side for thrills and the FL side for scenery. You tube has POV videos of both sides.

This sounds great, thanks! I'll be going there the 31st- I know, super busy, but I'm a good strategizer! I think that if you go knowing it will be packed then you're not all dissaointed. I was looking for a strategy thread. Know any?

BFF is in the Navy & got one of the military tickets last time we went to the Park; IIRC, she traded the printout/voucher in for a real ticket at the gate. It was definitely useable for Fastpasses. :thumbsup2

Have fun on your trip!!!
