Received this in an email from a friend today. Some may be worth looking into. I know for sure that I will be calling my cell phone carrier to check into that discount.

You will need to know the military member's supervisor's name, phone number, and full address, so that his/her military status can be verified.

Anheuser-Busch is honored to salute the men and women of our armed forces and their families.

I just found this board, this is a great thread to start on! I do want to add that with the cell phone discounts, Verizon at least, the servicemembers name must be on the contract, not the spouse. Unfortunately I signed up for our service in my name and when I asked about the discount there was alot of paperwork involved and I was told it HAD to be in my DH's name.

With Cingular, the phone is in my name, and it was really easy to do...just a phone call and an email from his AKO account...which doesn't make a lot of sense...because anyone who knows someone in the army can have an AKO account you just need a sponsor :confused3

Thank you for the list! My brother asks at just about every place he goes if he gets a military disocunt. He will be thrilled to see this list. :thumbsup2

Our veterinarian's office also give a 10% military discount. Wish I knew that years ago when we first started going there. lol
