Military Discount?

We are retired military. Our cruise is booked. I know they do not have Military discounts until closer to the cruise. We go in Nov. If there is one for our cruise, can they apply the discount to our existing reservation? Our TA is aware that we are military.

No. The military discount cannot be applied to existing reservations. Only the Florida Resident discounts can be done that way. Military discounts are usually offered after the pay in full date. At that point, you cannot cancel your cruise without major penalty.

Truth. The "military rates" tend to be more of a last minute discount for service members...which also works well for active duty, because knowing you will be granted leave a year in advance is challenging.

Exactly! Our first cruise was a military discount 3 weeks before sail date. Even then, it was hard to get a confimed leave request.
