Milesource reward center

This is my first time posting to boards. I've been lurking for quite awhile now. I just want to say you all give GREAT information. So, I wanted to share this with you. I was one of the people that got the extra miles from the whole giveanything.com thing. I looked in the Milesource reward center just to see what there was. They have totally changed it. Now you can get gift cert. for places like Target, Walmart, Mc Donald's, Old Navy and more. I think this is soooo much better than the giveanything certs. Thought everyone who got those bonus miles would like to know..

I cashed out (not holding my breath) about 6 weeks ago, hoping for a Krispee Kreme 16$ gift certificate. Not sure if I even cashed out correctly, it was a mystery to me! I can only hope to get it by 8 weeks when we leave for our (donut)vacation. Is anyone actually getting any GC's? Or am I clicking for naught? Was I only dreaming I saw those KK certificates? Sometimes they were there and sometimes poof.........not. Anyone know for sure........thanks.

I'm trying to cashout now and it's asking for a gift certificate number. Where do I find that?

Hi Lori:

When you cash out at Milesource you have to first send away for a certificate and then you can cash out. This was my first cash out with this program. The only thing is that by the time I got my cert (about 6 weeks) they changed the prizes. Now I have a cert for 2200 miles and I don't want anything at this level and you have 2 months to use it before it expires. I'm hoping they change the prizes in the meantime. Good Luck. Seems like a lenghty process.

Do they have to make it that difficult? Why all the paperwork and waste of postage. They should just let you redeem online and deduct the points immediately. I've kept clicking there wondering if it'll be worth it in the end. Milesource hasn't had a sparkling reputation on these boards.

Maybe I'm overly dense or something, but I am still confused. How do you recieve the Milesource certificate (number)? Does it come by U.S. mail or e-mail?

I "cashed out" (I hope!) in mid June, and I am wondering if I should be worried.

The certificate number will be sent by email, approx. 4-6 weeks after it has been ordered (if you can believe anything you read on MileSource).

If you cashed out in June and have not gotten your GiveAnything GC yet, email their customer service department. They will most likely return your points to your account so that you can cash out again for the same value GC.
