Oooo...I saw that guy in the lost and found section also....left absolutely NOTHING to the imagination. In one photo you could even count the moving parts. Good thing I didn't see him on actual race day.....I would have either had palpitations OR peed my pants.....it's so hard to tell from those photos if he's hot or just weird. OK I said enough.....

Trash Talk - Personally, I tease as a way to make everyone laugh. I *thought* my use of adn and calling out that I was trash talking made it pretty clear that all was in jest. I am very sorry if anyone took anything the wrong way.

oooh, oooh, sign me up, my house needs to be cleaned! Oh yeah, I'm already on Team 2, so I guess my house will get cleaned while I'm burning the asphalt. I didn't realize that this competition had benefits!

I didn't miss it, I got that one too. Here is what I have so far:

Going Goofy: Beth, Laurie, Christy/Steve

I am missing votes from:

If there is a tie, I will intervene but I am just a figurehead here for motivation and inspiration purposes only (oh yeah, mark me down for perspiration too) so argue amongst yourselves and remember, play nice!!! Don't make me....oh wait, that would be my kiddos!!!!!

Carrie I agree and laughed, or chuckled at your post - to me they inspired me to post something as well!!

WISH Team is unique - its not an exclusive clique - the spirit picks you up, no matter where you land - and you cant help but be moved to action!! Cant let the team down -

Panda I like your post - and I agree - I have "friends" on all teams, I have teammates all over - you betcha I want to CHEER their successes!! I cant wait to see where it takes us!!

So one thread to "chit chat" - Individual Team threads to post miles/hours only??? Challenges work too - like I'm going to walk 1 mile - I challenge xxx to walk that mile with me??

Team 4!!!! Are we ready to ROCK??????? Oh yeah, we still need a name..... I like both the choices, so my vote can go either way. Super goofs, or Going Goofy works for me and no, I will never be doing the actual Goofy but I still 'fit' the name!

Feb 1st is coming up on us quickly and I am ready to rumble!!! I do think there will be some trash talking for me at work since Nancy (PaDisneyFan) is on another team! She already said that she will withhold her training program from me so I can't cheat!

But first, it requires a little background (never a good sign)...

I was going through the lost and found photos looking for my castle shot (I never seem to get a decent castle shot) and came across a bunch of photos of a guy I had, ahem, noticed before the race. A lot of his pictures are in the lost and found, which makes sense since there is really no reasonable or safe place to pin a number when you are only wearing a skin tight white speedo.

So anyway, when I was in the corrals and he walked by, I remember wondering, quite innocently of course, whether those were available in WISH green and whether our dashing WISH warriors would be willing to adopt them as a new team uniform when the lady next to me, following my gaze, said "Well, I found my moving buddy!"

I don't know about this one. For some reason, I am just not feeling the "love" for the name, especially after the back ground. Maybe its just me, but men in thongs just don't inspire me.

Since this is going to be a VERY fun event.. and lots of WISHers will be jumping on the band wagon... Can we make a Max number of people per team? If the teams get too large.. as they are starting to... the tallying and such will become way too much for the captains.... Rather than adding people to teams can we add another team??? Before we get going... maybe we should make a few more smaller teams now.. and then have the ability to add on as we go?

Just a suggestion... as.. I want this to be fun for us captains too!! And keeping up with the threads.. and adding mileage... and keeping track of 12 or more people seems a little daunting to me at this point!!

Kathy I just need another volunteer for captain and we can do another team. It has grown already more than I anticiaped.

Need a CAPTAIN anyone interested? All you have to do is do the starting post on Feb 1st and help your team pick a name and be the cheer leader for the year. It pays great and the works is easy and rewarding.

Bill that was Vic in the speedo, so if you wanna captain another team???? It might even help you stay focused.
