Mileage on car ?

Not sure if this is the right place but I was just curious about what the mileage was on your car when driving to Florida? We are driving down and we are looking to find a 7 seater car and wondering what kind of mileage I should be looking at. If I bought a ca that had 95,000 as long as it was taken care of and checekd before we left I would hope it would be ok.

I would think that the answer would depend on what kind of car are you driving (make/model/year) and where are you driving from. There are some cars with a 100K miles on that would probably be fine from California, whereas other cars with a lot less mileage might not make it 100 miles.

The bolded is the key. I guarantee there is a garage somewhere near you that will do a "trip inspection".

I have a 10yo mini-van with 168,000 miles that I would drive to Florida from DC without hesitating. It's well maintained and never had a problem.
